It's just ~1MB so even with dial-up it's not too much to cope with.
The bugfixes are certainly worth the, err, wait wink

Also, if you don't mind, how do you proceed once a new DP has been released?
Those things weight in a couple of MBs alright...

All DriverPacks together... that's the same as downloading nLite a couple of hundred times wink

There is full multibootDisc support (through the GUI) as of DriverPack Sound B 6.07 b3. Just wait for the final (should be released 31 July) wink.

Indeed, then you shouldn't use the DriverPacks. They're an all-in-one solution.

This will be automated.

Thanks. BTW it wasn't a complaint, just a feature request. Been using your packs for some time now and never had a complaint. Reported a HP prtcls.sys error on MSFN june last year, which was quickly corrected by you. So again, no complaints.

Hehe smile Thanks.

Are you actually using the DriverPacks?

Obviously the .lng files will be included in the official download. It's just now, during the beta's that I've not yet included it.

Hi! My mother language is Bulgarian and I want to translate Driver Pack base on it. But I do not know where i can get Driver Pack base, even beta. Can you help?
There was a problem wit international support. I mean that there was a strange bug with fonts, when windows regional and language settings are different from english. Is this bug fixed?

I've made you a translator, chertoianov wink Now you can access the beta (check the Betas forum).

That bug has indeed been fixed!

6.03.4 was the latest version of that I think. The latest DriverPacks Chipset and Graphics A aren't compatible with it, the others are.

Please use the latest version of the DriverPacks BASE, I will not try to fix any possible problem with an ancient version of the DriverPacks BASE wink

Retry with ONLY the DriverPacks, no nLite applied, no UpdatePacks. I suspect that nLite is the culprit. Or your CDR.

setupdd.sys isn't touched by the DriverPacks.

Ok, I finally found the bug. It's solved in 6.07 b3.

I don't see anything that could be wrong, at least not at first sight.

Please submit this bug at the bugtracker and upload your dosnet.inf file there too.

EDIT: it's already submitted, but I really need that file!

Stupid AVG, LOL

Guess they aren't too fond of drivers, then...

haha big_smile

Are they aliide.sys and atiide.sys?

So it seems AutoIt supported setting a proxy... Just didn't think about it, and in fact you're the first to complain about it in about 2 months.

Call it a design flaw.

Will be fixed in the next version wink (Submit it at the bugtracker please!)

Helmi wrote:

Don't worry, the file in question will not be in the next version, so you don't have to get yourself a new AV just because of the DriverPacks wink

But AVG does detect all .exe's in the DriverPacks BASE as malware... LOL

I've contacted AVG about it...

Problem is back in : DPs_BASE_607b1 no newdev.dll or newdev.dl_ present after slipstream

POST THIS IN THE BETAS FORUM!

That hotfix is no longer being slipstreamed (mentioned in the changelog), so that's normal wink Or did the DriverPack Sound B accidentally delete the file while an UpdatePack was present? Or did the DriverPack Sound B accidentally still add the entries for it?

Since 6.07 b1, REG.exe is no longer being used, so this problem is solved automatically wink

Off topic but there is no refresh button for the updatechecker in 6.07b1

Tried to reproduce and it seems that IS true, but it only happens when no connection is available. Fixed that now. Please post that in the Betas forum next time! Else you're making it very difficult to keep track of things wink

Also submit to the bugtracker please.

Hi Bashrat,

May you made me a beta tester. Thank you.

Done wink

@mickmack & KenanBalamir: I've made you Translators, which also have access to the Betas smile (Sorry for not thinking of that obvious fact right away, mickmack tongue)

@all three of you: Grrrreat! smile I didn't expect that much response so quick big_smile Then the DriverPacks BASE will soon be available in English, Dutch, German, Russian, Turkish and French. If the unicode support seems to be sufficient, at least. I tried Russian and Korean characters and it failed... But I think a work-around is possible... so give me some time to get that working. (French should be possible though)
