You WILL need to restart AT LEAST once before you can make any assumptions on whether the installation worked or not.
This is not only true for the DriverPacks but a general rule.

About time I guess...
rgr.
Yeah, I mean the sum is $3 over the set aim, so, technically, it is more than 100%, though it shows it as 100%
No am sorry, if they are inside, then i excuse me.
Did you actually check whether all devices got installed before posting the request or at least check whether they are listed on the supported devices/driver version list???
I am having a bit of a feeling you just requested away without doing this crucial reseach first.
Seriously, you cannot expect us to do all this for you.
We rely on the community to do this and only request missing or outdated drivers!
Wrong forum again.
Check my reply at your modem drivers in LAN...
So we dont do anything about this one?
I don't know, I told you the propable possibilities, but I doubt we'll find a slick official solution for this.
if so please close Helmi.
rgr that.
For the time being at least...
Wrong forum, mate.
Modem drivers are not officially supported ATM.
Try the 3rd Party DriverPacks for them.
Well, I don't see a good reason why we would not want you to
100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even a bit more.
Thx, jtdoom!
I edited the OP to fix the URL
LOL@muiz
I've now edited all of his posts' subject lines to better reflect the REQ status.
@iacob777:
You don't request driver to "have as a driver pack" but to have those drivers included in the already existing driver packs!
We don't do seperate packs for each driver but one for all devices that match the common criteria (ie graphics card).
Therefore, you need to request those drivers (of which you verified they are missing or outdated in the current packs) to be added to them.
Please use the proper subject tags next time.
I edited your post for now.
The third driver link is borken, btw, please replace with the proper one.
Same here, seeing it clearly now
And congrats, we reached 100% already!
Yay!
IE7.
As I said, it was showing up prefectly before.
Now, there isn't even a placeholder for it or *anything*
Just as if the code is not present at all.
It still works absolutely fine on the DP.net page, though.
Does it have to do with no ads showing for me, maybe?
And how is it going.... erhm? The progress widget is displayed on every single page of the main site and of the forum, just not on the bugtracker, you MUST have seen it Perhaps your browser blocks it?
No, it is no longer being displayed, I'm afraid!
For me at least.
Only still works on the DP page, but on NO forum page anymore (it did work before, say 14 days or so...)
Hello Bashrat, thanks for answering. The 7 drivers i mentioned above, whould like them as one driverpack. So why should i split them?
Moin!
Reason I wrote In English:
I told this guy to come over here from Sereby's forum.
Obviously, it isn't that easy for him to understand the DP structure in English, so I try to make it clear in German.
Hopefully, from now on, we can continue the discussion in English
Hm, only idea I can still offer is enabling or disabling (depending on what state it is on currently) the USB Legacy Support in the BIOS.
I remember disabling (I think, I would have to check the current BIOS settings) it solved some minor issues (drive letters being shown wrong at Windows TextMode setup phase, where you select the partition) with my CardReader, which is also internal and hence never unplugged.
Since that setting got changed, the CR shows up in TM setup phase and hence all drivers are assigned properly later under Windows.
Before, it would not get detected and hence cause troubles later.
Maybe that can help you!
Check your BIOS for possible settings.
IE, make the Card Reader the last boot device (if at all) and have all HDDs and ODDs come before it.
What HW do these machines feature?
Anything exotic?
Bâshrat the Sneaky, its need to verify that problem on some notebooks, I think. May be it usual hardware problem.
Well, thing is, these modded mobility drivers will usually work on most notebook HW, but definately not on all.
That exactly is the reason why, ususally, you have to rely on the manufacturer supplied driver (you know, those that are a year's version behind the official GFX card makers') for full support.
In most cases, the modified INI will do the trick, but it's no guarantee.
Only solution I see in this case is to include the actual, manufacturer-supplied drivers.
However, as they are obsolete in most cases and also would have to be included on a per-model base, this would blow up the DP's size enormously.
I guess it's a better idea if those who have to rely on these drivers (probabaly just a few percent, haven't had a case where the modded drivers did not work myself) include them via a selfmade 3rdP DP.
Oh and write angry (but polite!) emails to your NB's manufacturer to finally update those drivers!
Very well
The DL link was broken (automatic URL detection failed...).
I fixed that now.
You can set it up in the advanced options.
Also, the default is no longer C:\D\, it's %SYSTEMDRIVE%\DriverPacks now (ususally C:\Windows\DriverPacks\)
Just slipstream the DriverPacks again using the BASE and unselect the TM drivers.
It will automatically undo any changes done in the previous run and sort of start all over freshly.
How long did you wait?
The process is known to take a while if you KTD a lot of drivers.
