Topic: How to automatically remove the drivers created on C:

I was able to use DriverPacks correctly. Windows XP was installed properly. Howver it seems that after installation there are backup drivers found on C:

I've tried with KTD disabled or enabled.  But upon successful installation you could still see the drivers created on C: You just have to manually delete the folder.

Is there anyway that the driverpack doesn't create a folder on C: or perhaps delete it after the installation?

Re: How to automatically remove the drivers created on C:

hi
you mean that you still see the D folder after restart?

Can you please post DpsFnshr.log (found in windows folder on the machine you ran setuup on)

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

Re: How to automatically remove the drivers created on C:

Let me try to get that. Ohh I also haven't tried to restart the PC after windows install and verify if the D folder is still there.

I'll try it again and will post an update later.

Re: How to automatically remove the drivers created on C:

You WILL need to restart AT LEAST once before you can make any assumptions on whether the installation worked or not.
This is not only true for the DriverPacks but a general rule.

Windows lives by its common restarts tongue
