Bump.
Was this ever resolved?

No, I'm afraid this is too old.  I doubt that there are more than a dozen of these cards still in working order. wink
You can create your own Third Party DriverPack using those drivers for your own use though.  See this thread for more details.

Implemented in DriverPack Graphics A 9.11rc.

Anyone test the new DriverPacks?
I'm marking this thread as [Fixed]

Are all the driverpacks in this forum digitally signed?

They should be.  The Win7 version of "sigverif" doesn't support folder scanning, but the XP version does.

To verify signatures on a RUNNING system, click 'Start'->'Run', then type "sigverif" (without quotes) which will launch the signature verification tool, then click 'Start'.
To verify signatures in a FOLDER using SigVerif.exe, launch it as above (in XP), then click 'Advanced', 'Browse' to your folder, click 'Include subfolders', then 'OK'.

You can, but at the moment you must use DISM.

DRIVER SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Remove-Driver              - Removes driver packages from an offline image.
/Add-Driver                    - Adds driver packages to an offline image.
/Get-DriverInfo               - Displays information about a specific driver in an offline image or a running operating system.
/Get-Drivers                   - Displays information about all drivers in an offline image or a running operating system.

To get more info about the above commands, use /?
DISM.exe /Image:C:\test\offline /Get-DriverInfo /?

But OverFlow is correct.  You SHOULD use DriverPacks in conjunction with the included drivers in Win7.

Welcome to DriverPacks!  There are no stupid questions, only stupid people. big_smile
1. Yes, but try the main DriverPacks first, then only add drivers that are missing.  (less work)
2. The windows installer will pick & choose from the drivers that are available (between T-36 & T-33 stage of install) and pick what it thinks are the best drivers for the hardware being installed.  Then DriverPacks Finisher cleans up whatever drivers are left so your system is nice and clean.  Only the drivers needed by the system are left behind, no others.
A tutorial is in my signature.

This only includes the ATI Catalyst, and nVidia GeForce drivers (in first post).
I don't know, I don't use W7T.

I just tested on a friends ASUS A8N-VM CSM (Nvidia GeForce 6150 / nForce 430) and like you, everything installed perfectly EXCEPT PhysX.  Looking into it more...

Looking into it more, there's an overlap in the DriverPacks for your board.  This mobo has combined graphics/chipset on the board which requires the Nforce all-in-one package here.  The Nforce package does NOT install PhysX by default.
This is a problem for the DriverPacks team because the nforce drivers are version-matched for the other components as well (LAN, audio, chipset, graphics, etc).  Any mismatch within DriverPacks will cause problems during install.
I'm not sure how we're going to solve this one.  But you can build a custom dp yourself with only the nforce driver package (not too hard).  I may make one for you over the weekend just to test.
Also, Nvidia released new 191.66 Quadro drivers that will NOT make it into the 9.11 release, but I'll work on a nightly for testing.

BTW, I uploaded the new release candidates (9.11rc1) in the testing team forum.  Please reply in that thread with your experiences (good/bad).
I also found that the ATICCC install bug was caused by an undocumented dependency on .NET 2.0 AND VC++ redistributable!  Installing both .NET/VC++ I now have zero problems with the current RC trifecta on all my ATI-based systems. smile

OK, I seem to have fixed the problem.  Testing went well today.  All three of my notebooks tested good.
I'll get some time to try and upload tomorrow.  I'm working on optimizing the folder paths now.
I'll be needing you to test my latest concoction! wink

I should have the ATI bug fixed in my local 9.11rc copy.  I have more tests to run tonight and I may upload them later this week.
I don't know what's going on with that nvidia bug.

just to add to this i also can download the Vista x86 Audio DriversPack at http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=3341.

Confirmed.  Download stops at 46.1 MB with no error and file is corrupted.

Yes...SAD.
Think of it as DVD-based KTD. smile

OK, with my (unreleased) 9.10rc2 graphics DriverPacks, the ATI CCC is working fine for my HD3450 (Cat 9.10), and my notebook x600 and 9600 (both Cat 9.3), but not my old Radeon 7000 notebook (Cat 6.11).
I'll have to include the old CCC from the 6.11 package and see if that solves it for the really old notebook.
Once I complete my testing, I'll make the 9.11rc1 public for the final push to release.  This is the only bug holding it back.

Yes.
If you checked the Intel downloads page you would have found this.

I have a similar drive, and that driver is supplied by the XP built-in drivers in %XPcd%\i386\cdrom.sys

Did you remove any drivers using Nlite?
DriverPacks does not support any optical drives.  That driver is part of XP.

Sorry, that must have been a fluke because it's not working for me either.
I'm convinced the problem is in the unsigned .inf registry entries.  I'll try to dig into it more over the weekend.
My test disc works perfectly on my HD3450 but not my notebook (each uses a different .inf).

*Edit
Doing more research, it looks like it might be an incompatibility between .NET, VCredist, and the CCC installer.
I'm still looking for the cause, but this appears to be a widespread problem with CCC, not just DriverPacks.

Thank you for the good news. smile
I've been testing rc2 here to try to solve the problem where ATI CCC won't run after install.  I'm stumped. sad
I even added the older 9.3.1 Catalyst CCC to A1\ but even that won't run properly.  I'm going to keep testing until I figure this out.
For the record, this problem only affects cards that do NOT use the signed .inf files (ie, mobility.inf).
9.10rc1 works perfectly on my HD3450, but not mobility x600.

I know, I just move my older DriverPacks into my \old\ folder for safe keeping.  Old habits die hard I guess.
Hopefully, the new RC will work on your hardware just fine.  Please let us know if not.

LOL, well it shouldn't affect this problem, but you can remove the duplicate DriverPacks from the DriverPacks BASE folder:

2009-10-23 10:41:54 : <INIT>     Detected DriverPack Graphics A 8121!
2009-10-23 10:41:54 : <INIT>     Detected DriverPack Graphics A 906!
2009-10-23 10:41:54 : <INIT>     Detected DriverPack Graphics B 8121!
2009-10-23 10:41:54 : <INIT>     Detected DriverPack Graphics B 906!

Can you try the release candidate sound DriverPacks linked on the main news page please?

I'm working on rc2, but my notebook hdd is failing.  Boy, I just can't catch a break lately!
