I just made a new Slipstream disk for my Xp Pro. With my previous setup I never got more that 1 or 2 driver signing pop-ups.
Now with this new one I get about 800-1200 driver signing popups.
The first slipstream I did about a year ago.
Is this normal?

You must have modified something after integrating DriverPacks.

I am installing on a Vm. The machine is a Compaq Proliant ml350 g3 and I get the same problems when installing on real machine.
I used Xp@sp1 and slipped sp3 first.
then I slipped OnePiecePostSp3
then I slipped some Winaddons programs and my windows Tweaks
All three done with Nlite.
then I came back and added the Driverpacks last with DP_Base.

the signing popups are directly related to you selecting
KTD = "all"
KTD will cause driver signing popups... lots of them
they should be muted
Ok, so when you say "they should be muted" does that mean I shouldnt see them, or , does it mean I need to select something else when I do my setup.

KTD is never needed... Why do you think you need it???
And KTD ALL is just ridiculous... this would never ever ever be needed. (And wouldn't work)
if you do really need KTD functionality then KTD is not the solution, it never was. It's a good theory and will work @ some hardware... however it is depreciated.
SAD is what KTD was intended to be...
Tell me what you are trying to do... I'll tell you the quick way to get there...
PS there are two programs that should mute the sound and close the popups... however there will be thousands of popups. one for every driver x 2
