Re: How to remove default drivers?

DriverPacks is designed to be used WITH the included drivers... I'm sure that is not going to change wink.

Re: How to remove default drivers?

So your saying theres no way to replace the default windows drivers with newer drivers?
If i slipstream latest driver packs, will windows default drivers stay, taking space on hard drive?

Thanks

Re: How to remove default drivers?

You can, but at the moment you must use DISM.

DRIVER SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Remove-Driver              - Removes driver packages from an offline image.
/Add-Driver                    - Adds driver packages to an offline image.
/Get-DriverInfo               - Displays information about a specific driver in an offline image or a running operating system.
/Get-Drivers                   - Displays information about all drivers in an offline image or a running operating system.

To get more info about the above commands, use /?
DISM.exe /Image:C:\test\offline /Get-DriverInfo /?

But OverFlow is correct.  You SHOULD use DriverPacks in conjunction with the included drivers in Win7.
