French language updated for DP BASE 9.01.002 : bugtracker issue 489.

BartPE and SysPrep are still using the same "P" letter.
Please advise about this "issue", then I'll update the french language.

yep, i've subscribed today ! smile

I've updated french language for DP Base 8.08 (from DP Base 80831b) :
http://bugtracker.driverpacks.net/view.php?id=438

DriverPack Graphics A (actually "B" in URL):
http://dev.driverpacks.thesneaky.com/dr … 08test2.7z

Yes, good idea.

I have a DP TV I've already updated on my side.
I took DP TV 7.02, and updated Pinnacle & Terratec drivers.
http://rapidshare.com/files/47152486/DP_TV_705.7z.html

No, using the very same source I use for months (years).
Finally, I've installed on another HD, then ghosted the disk to the Raptor. OS works fine once installed.

Bios ESCD was reset after BIOS upgrade.
I've already tested install once sound card & tv card removed. On mobo, soundcard, parallel port, serial ports, IR, second ethernet LAN port,  second sata chipset are always OFF.
Boot & install is OK with any of my HDs except Raptor 74 Gb ... which is my default boot disk ; and used to work very fine until now :-s.

If I remove my boot HD (unplug sata cable for boot hard drive : Raptor 74 GB), then everything works fine ... I can Install XP on other (or/and any) hard disk without any problems.
So I removed all other HDs and tried with all three sata cables : still the same BSOD.
It looks like this Raptor has a problem ... but only when scanned during text mode install, as I'm currently using it under XP while typing this post reply. I'll try a format with WD tools ....

Tested RAM during 2 hours and half. 7 pass OK.
Flashed bios to lastest version F8 for Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9. Did "Load optimized defaults".
Then, I tried again with CDs, and still the same BSOD error sad.
What's really weird it's that I'm currently using XP on this hardware (another disk partition), to write this mail ... and I have no problems at all.

I've tested with new XP integrated :
- base 7.05.2 + mass 7061 + chipset 706 ==> BSOD, though I'm sure 100% I've already tested it and it was working.
- base 7.05.2 + mass 705 + chipset 705 ==> BSOD, same ... I'me sure it was working.
- I've found an old CD made back nov 2006 with chipset 609, mass 608, and other DriverPacks. I wrote on the CD "works fine on nForce4 ultra".
I've even removed 3 of my 4 harddisks ... still the same BSOD, and removed some PCI cards (TV, sound). Still the same BSOD.
So, definitively I have an hardware problem on my nForce4 mobo .... but I can't find what it is ... sad sad
I'll reset config, and test this afternoon.

I've just tested again with a XPCD with only DP MassStorage 7.07.2 and still the same BSOD sad

I'll test tomorrow with older DP Mass 7.06.1.

I can test removing all DriverPacks except MassStorage, & chipset.
However, "nvatabus.sys" error seems to be DP MassStorage related rather than Graphics ?

I've just compiled a fresh XPCD with latest DriverPacks : base 7052, chipset 706, graphics 7061 + 705 + 704, lan 7062, mass 7072, sound 707 both, wlan 706.
I boot on CD, drivers are scanned, then startup takes a long time on "Examinating disk 0 of xxxx Mb Id 0 ... on nvatabus ...."

More or less one minute waiting, BSOD happens :
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x000000D1
nvatabus.sys - Address .....

Yeah, great smile
However new forum posts take a lot of space .... actual one are less "verbose".

On a gigabyte P35-DS3P, I've activated in bios "internal controller" in AHCI mode ... and when windows booted, it adds a "IDE controller" ... and didn't  ask for drivers. I don't understand, it should have asked for Jmicron drivers :-s.
Any idea ?

That's nice to hear, but the way I understand it that means you can only deselect whole DriverPacks instead of single drivers/devices out of these packs.
So, the only benefit would be deselecting DriverPack WLAN and two of the three DPGs if you do not need these.

He's got the link to this post ... so yes : unselect the DP you don't want, not unselect all DriverPacks at the same time (but, I guess you could do it unselecting DP one after each other).

.7z files are compressed using LZMA ultra setting, which requires at least 66 Mb free to decompress an archive.
My friend told me it wasn't to much work to add this "unselect DriverPacks" feature.

It could be added to un7zip.exe .... I'll ask my friend who coded the tool.

@jtdoom : undestood ... but i965 is almost latest chipset (P35 is now newer) and it already does not work with latest MSM 7.5.0 .... really weird.

So, use MSM 7.5.0 driver only for P35 (ICH9) and keep other driver versions for all others Intel chipsets.

Your CD/DVD drives "disappears" after first reboot because Jmicron wasn't loaded during textmode setup ==> you must activate Jmicron. Latest Jmicron driver supports ahci/raid modes for PATA drives connected to Jmicron chipset.
You need AHCI (iastor driver) to see your sata drives connected to ICH8R.
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2821 is listed in DP .ini ... and should load iastor 7.5.0 .... so if it's not loaded (you don't see your HDD), maybe there is a problem with iastor driver in ini file ?

@ jtdoom : I've checked HWIDs supported by officials Intel drivers 5.5.0, 6.2.1, 7.0.0 and 7.5.0 I've downloaded from Intel website.

No HWIDs : all are supported by driver 6.2.1

IAHCI 10/31/2006, 6.2.1.1002

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2652&CC_0106.DeviceDesc	= "Intel(R) 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2653&CC_0106.DeviceDesc	= "Intel(R) 82801FBM SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2922&CC_0106.DeviceDesc	= "Intel(R) ICH9 SATA AHCI Controller"

It seems MSN 5.5.0 & 6.2.1 could be removed, and using 7.0.0 & 7.5.0 is enough to support all HWIDs [MSM 7.5.0 is required to support latest P35 chipset].
However, 82801ER and 6300ESB are supported only with v5.5.0 (v6.2.1 supports 82801FR).

==> 3 versions needed ?

@ reini.m : can you post your HWIDs please ? (http://www.driverpacks.net/Downloads/save_hwids.exe)

Can you test without Jmicron at all ?
Or not you need Jmicron because you have two PATA drives you want to use them in RAID mode ?

D\G\N\1 works fine on my geforce 7900GT.
