Re: New JMicron

Hi jtdoom,

I'm sure.
Vers. 1.17.20.03

Re: New JMicron

Please always include a link (direct link, too, if possible) with any driver requests.

It's certainly nice to at least know there is a newer one but it's even more comfortable for the Team to be presented a link right away smile

And, let's face it, if you know there's a newer driver available you usually already have that link ready, right? wink

Re: New JMicron

I asked, are you sure... and you know what?
the link in the FTP itself is not updated.

the older file is gone, but the old link is what I still saw. (an error on Jmicron site)

I pasted its properties into notepad, and changed it to
ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/Win2 … .20.03.zip
Et viola, I finally have it.

Re: New JMicron

@ Helmi
OK, no problem. The next time I'll post the directlink if possible.

@jtdoom
Hmm, I never had a problem with the link on the JMicron site to get the new driver. The link gives me the newest driver. I use Firefox.

Re: New JMicron

I could also get to it when I used browse as FTP in explorer.
In IE's standard views, the site's own link was not up to date.

(harumph, hi time I clear IE-Cache... that was the problem)

Re: New JMicron

On a gigabyte P35-DS3P, I've activated in bios "internal controller" in AHCI mode ... and when windows booted, it adds a "IDE controller" ... and didn't  ask for drivers. I don't understand, it should have asked for Jmicron drivers :-s.
Any idea ?

Re: New JMicron

Hi
the folder with Jmicron RAID/AHCI driver has Jmide.inf and Jraid_i.inf.
Jmicron no longer have jahci.inf in their download, because (the way I interpret the jraid inf) both modes are now supported by one driver.
