Hi again,

strange, I remember it working with the 7.04 release. Could you maybe add the ID then ?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi !

On the P5B Deluxe Board by Asus, that contains the JMB363 controller there are 2 entries of that controller in the system manager after installation with DP 7.05 (and earlier): One of those entries is normal, the other has the yellow exclamation mark on it.

The ID for both is:

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&SUBSYS_81E41043&REV_02\4&18CD42CE&0&00E4

Is there a way to fix this ?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi !

After a WinXP installation with the current driverpack LAN 7.05 the Broadcom Nextreme 5700 entry had a yellow exclamation mark and did not work. After installing the driver from the broadcom website it worked.

The id of the broadcom adapter is

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_167A&SUBSYS_01DA1028&REV_02\4&21E4E6E0&0&00E4

However, I think this worked with 7.04 of the Driverpack LAN already so it may be a bug or so ?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi !

There are driverupdates available from Highpoint:

2320:
http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS_Driv … 6-0201.zip

2310:
http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS_Driv … 5-0201.zip

There may be other driverupdates as well:
http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA/bios.htm

Thanks for implementing them !

Hi !

Is there a know bug that prevents the DPsFnshr.exe from loading during runonceex in Base 7.01.6 ? (method2) Did not find anything during my forum search.

I got this message recently on a PC I installed. Any ideas how this could happen ? Sorry, I don´t have any logfiles currently. Will have to test if this happens on all machines ...

Bye,
Alex

Hi Bashrat,

thanks. The link did not work but I think I found the issue 308 by searching for it. Well, I can keep using base 6.12 in the meantime, no problem.

Helmi: I did not use the Quickstream Cache :-)

If you need more info to reproduce this problem, just drop me a line ! :-)

Hi Bashrat,

big bug with 7.01:

It does not integrate the masstorage pack !! Txtsetup.sif does not contain any entries and the slipstreaming finishes much quicker than base 6.12.

I tried two times:

twice with base 6.12 ... everything normal
twice with base 7.01 .... no masstorage drivers get integrated.

Heres the logs:

twig123 and maxximum,

Hmm... Still having issues with this? are you using RyanVM Updates?... cause I am and have no issues.

No, I am not using RyanVM Updates. This is a blank XP SP2 disc with no other slipstreamed packs etc. Only driverpacks.

Bye,
Alex

Hi Bashrat,

this board is based on P965 chipset and has the ADI 1988B HD Audio chipset on board. After installing Windows with all your latest driverpacks I have a yellow exclamation mark in device manager in System devices. This device is the HD audio bus:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_284B&SUBSYS_81EC1043&REV_02\3&11583659&0&D8: PCI Device

After installing the KB888111-x86-ENU-forsp2.exe this changes to

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_284B&SUBSYS_81EC1043&REV_02\3&11583659&0&D8: Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio

So there is definitely still a problem with this not only on Sony notebooks (the same happens on my Sony SZ1 nb).

Thanks for your help,
Alex

Hi Bahsrat,

I can confirm there is a problem with the latest DP Massstorage on an P965 chipset board with JMicron 363 controller. In my case, the board is an P5B Deluxe and I get the same BSOD right after the textmode drivers are loaded. After following Davvan´s tip to delete the PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363="jraid" line from the HardwareIDsDatabase in textsetup.sif, installation proceeded without a problem. Here´s my HWIDs:

Ah,

yeah, I am stupid, I did delete all log files during cleanup phase. Anyway, the HWID´s are already up there in the thread, here they are again:

the device ID of the CPU is

ACPI\AUTHENTICAMD_-_X86_FAMILY_15_MODEL_35\_0
