Yes. But in the past there were specific drivers for Intel-branded motherboards, now they are no longer necessary, thus I've removed them.

Re: [SOLVED] Still problem with HDA bus, this time on P5B Deluxe board (18 replies, posted in DriverPack Sound)
Is that the EXACT content? Then that's the reason why it doesn't work. It's messed up. Probably because the original svcpack.inf files were encoded in Little Endian, which cannot be converted properly yet. In 6.09 this will be fixed though! A bit more patience please...
P.S.: Microsoft is to blame. Their 'type' command is not capable of converting Little Endian encoded files to ANSI files. All other Unicode encodings can be converted without a hitch. But as I said, it will be solved in 6.09!

Re: [SOLVED] Dell Dimension 8100 "Unsupported Device" (5 replies, posted in DriverPack Chipset)
It would be added to Driverpack Chipset.
Found n interesting link. It appears now that it is a special button to contact Dell's e-Support through the touch of a buton on the Dimension 8100. I never heard of such a thing...
Adding support for it is pretty useless since there's no support for these machines anymore anyway (they date back to 2001, afaik Dell's maximum support is 3 years?). And even if there's support, I doubt many people would use it. I think more people would prefer to have it DISABLED. So if you agree with me, then I'll add this as an exception to the DPsFnshr.ini so that this device will simply be removed from the system (and hence you will no longer see the not-yet-installed device in Device Manager).

I would think that filenames are the same regardless of the language used.
Perhaps, but to avoid all possible issues this is the best way to do it. Plus you don't have to VERIFY that that would work

Yep, that's where the cause lies of your problem with the driver installation. I'm currently working very hard on getting a first nightly for DriverPack Sound B 6.09 online. But I will update DriverPack Graphics B asap!

Fixed the typo's you found ("command3" repeatedly used incorrectly and the incorrect total number). But that won't solve the issue you're having. So far you're still the only one having this issue... Still trying to locate the cause.

Re: DriverPack CPU 6.09 (39 replies, posted in DriverPack CPU)
So let me summarize:
- the amdk8.sys file is exactly the same one as in the past (confirmed by SkySandy)
- no one has any mentions of the amdaway driver in his setupapi.log, so it has not been installed
- NEVERTHELESS the driver in dp CPU 6.09 does NOT work and the one in dp CPU 6.08 does work.
Where is the logic in that? Can somebody try installing with dp CPU 6.09, but with the AMD away driver removed?

Hi
when you run RVM integrator, get to advanced, and tick unicode to ansi ON
after this, DPsBase is run, and during setup you should not not have a problem with 888111
(FAIK, when I eyeball the DPsBase process it replaces that particular hotfix.)
Won't work. The RVM Integrator uses the exact same method I'm using now. That means it ALSO does not work properly when used on Little Endian encoded files!
But I've got some good news about this issue... the conversion utility is ready and it'll be included in the 6.09 version of the DriverPacks BASE, on which I've been working very hard the past week... now only some bugs left to squash, all new functionality is working.

Re: DriverPack Graphics A 6.09 (5 replies, posted in DriverPack Graphics)
I thought it was multilingual? Will check later, but here's a quick tutorial:
1. Extract Spanish ATI CCC
2. You'll now have the files you mentioned.
3. Run the following command:
ATICCC.msi /a
4. Follow the instructions on screen, choose whatever directory, for example "C:\ATICCC_Spanish".
5. Extract ATICCC.exe included in DriverPack Graphics A to whatever directory, for example "C:\ATICCC_dps".
6. Now delete ALL files in "C:\ATICCC_dps" except for ISScript9.Msi.
7. Move everything inside "C:\ATICCC_Spanish" into "C:\ATICCC_dps".
8. Create a 7-zip SFX again of all the files inside "C:\ATICCC_Spanish", name the file ATICCC.exe and replace the original file.
This process must be repeated for each update of DriverPack Graphics A.

Re: Looking for a good DriverPacks Tutorial... (74 replies, posted in Other)
Again, once you intergrate drivers with the DriverPacks BASE you can no longer do anything to your source? (e.g. edit text, add or remove programs, add remove hotfixes etc). Does that mess something up?
Another question..Does anyone make their own unattended source disk manually without using others program/tools? I just ask because I am trying to learn this and feel the only way to get a true understanding of what you are doing is do it yourself hands on.
You should make those changes before slipstreaming the DriverPacks. If you still want to make changes, make them to both the current txtsetup.sif and the backed up file, txtsetup.org. If you don't, you'll lose your changes the next time you use the DriverPacks BASE on the same installation files.
And yes, I make my unattended installation discs manually. But only as far manually is relevant. It'd be incredibly stupid to not use the DriverPacks BASE or the RVM Integrator, for example.

I was using RISult which was working really well up untill they changed the way the the driver packs work. Does your now work with the the latest BASE?
It's up to the developer to support the current system and it's actually become easier for a 3rd party Developer to support it!

Re: [PROB] BSOD when using MassStorage DP with HP DX5150 SFF machines (3 replies, posted in DriverPack Mass Storage)
The DX5150 uses the ATI Radeon Express 200 chipset which uses the Sil3112 raid chipset, and unfortunately from what I can read here, the driverpack MassStorage still has issues with it. I have a few of those and actually ended up here looking for a way to integrate those drivers since the DX5150's I have don't come woth floppies so installing XP with drives already in RAID is a no-no.
It has been working fine for MONTHS, for well over a year probably. It's still unclear what the exact cause is. I'm working on it, but currently I've given a higher priority to an update of the DriverPacks BASE, since more people benefit from that...

Re: [NOT APPROVED] DriverPacks Updates Patches... (8 replies, posted in Feature Requests)
No time to read the entire topic, but...
The only main difference is the difference in bandwidth necessary for you and the bandwidth I have to buy. It would actually take LONGER to slipstream the DriverPacks, for example in method 2 everything would have to be re-compressed and I can tell you that takes longer than just 30 seconds - which is the time necessary at most for slipstreaming each DriverPack.
I can tell you however that I'm working on something that will make this possible, but more than just this... [/end sneaky mode]

Before I post this topic and right just before, I gave a searching glance about via sata (vt8237R plus) in this forumPlease link the answers or explain how 2 to T-T
I already posted the answer:
Sounds like either a corrupt image or a faulty CD/DVD. Please recreate the ISO and then burn it to a different CD/DVD. That should do the trick.
Hence the 'NEEDSREPLY' in the topic title! It means I still need your confirmation that that was indeed the solution.

Re: [SOLVED BUG #266] [Finisher] Critical error: "Could not delete element (78 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
You did not modify your DPsFnshr.ini, so that's not the cause.
It seems this was a random problem then... Do you want to and could you reinstall your system. I think something went wrong with copying the DPsFnshr.ini file to your HDD. So if you could recreate the ISO and write it to a different CD/DVD, this won't happen again I think.
