In most cases yes. Although, you'd have to check with the vendor to make sure.

We only use WHQL drivers when available. We never use beta drivers! In most cases, our beta DriverPacks are beta because we are testing new methods, not drivers.
Give them a try! You'll never know unless you try.
Last Nvidia version is 169.32 whql - not 169.21 in Graphics A!

Welcome to DriverPacks.
Yes, I had released a newer DP with the 8.2 Catalyst in the nightlies and I forgot to post it here. First post updated.
You are incorrect about the nvidia drivers however. The latest release for GeForce FX, 6, 7, and 8 series GPUs is 169.21.
It's possible you got ahold of leaked or beta drivers. But the www.nvidia.com website still lists the 169.21 drivers as current.
As a general rule, we use only WHQL-certified drivers directly from the vendor. Never beta.
Don't worry, I'm sure they'll release updated drivers soon that incorporates the newer cards. But for now, there's nothing wrong with the current G_A nightly in the first post and it's being made ready for release.
DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_8012 & DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_80218_nightly all different is "Updated to Catalyst 8.2"! But "Changed path" in old version!
PS: I find...
169.21 WHQL
169.28 Beta
169.32 WHQL (8800GS Only)
174.16 WHQL (9600GT Only)
http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/1 … _Notes.pdf
BUT
174.16 WHQL (http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/1 … l_whql.exe) + Modded INF (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/infs/170s … 4_disp.inf) and Life Is Wonderfull

Yes, the nightly versions are testing versions and they are meant for our testing team to use. The new paths are to reduce the Method-1 path limit.
Thank you for confirming the new drivers work. What card did you test them on?
Here's an experimental DP using the latest nvidia drivers. FOR TESTING ONLY, DO NOT USE ON PRODUCTION MACHINES.

On ALL versions of DP_Graphics with videocard ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro (and other cards of 2400 series) i have problem with width white line on boot-screen
are you sure it's not white out... (very old blonde joke sorry)
Hi
I think I know what he means.
I have seen this white line (where the progress should show) while windows starts on other old computers, way before I used DriverPacks, and installing the driver did not get rid of that.
Can you let us know if there is a problem once windows runs?
Did the driver load OK?
If NOT.. Does removing "our" driver and installing another driver fix this?
My PC not old AMD 6000+ on MB Asus M2N-E SLI! This foto-screen of my truble (on bootscreen or shutdown-screen): http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/2160/61318474eo6.jpg
DP or ATI 8.x and 7.x or Omega Drivers - result is one - white line
PS: Sorry for my bad english
the problem is not the driver for the video card per se.
I belive the problem is the video card drivers support for your monitor see this thread...
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2208
It seems from your screen shot that you might be useing a wide screen?
It may be that this is a result of the image that you used is not the correct size / format, and can not be fixed without replaceing the image itself. It seems that you have changed the default image used for boot and shut down and it may be that you created your own problem by changing it.
hm, i know this is going to be little off topic..........
If you plan to use the new ATI CCC, you MUST have .NET installed for it to work properly. Private testing has proved that ATI CCC will not install properly if .NET is integrated at GUIRunOnce or at RunOnceEx, but integrating .NET at SVCPACK (T-13) was successful. If you would/would not like to see .NET integrated into the DriverPacks, please leave us feedback.
where can i find a tutorial how to integrate .net frameowrk 2 and 3????
i was searching over at msfn.org but didn't have any luck
thank in advance
and again, sorry for the OT
cheers

Hi
I use RVM when I want it integrated.
I don't use the addon when I don't want it integrated, and then I select the DriverPacks option that does not need it.
http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/index.php
Hmmmmm, I cannot locate a link to this addon for English users.

http://tracker.ryanvm.net/rss has the .net torrent links.
I don't think your post is off topic .net might be part or all of his problem too.
so

2 .net related
3 KB883667 related
and is that screenie not a VISTA screen where the sidebar applet is white?
where can i find a tutorial how to integrate .net frameowrk 2 and 3????
I use RogueSpear's .NET2 installer from here.
I install it during T-13 svcpack. Just drag the .exe installer to the i386\svcpack folder, then make an entry in i386\svcpack.inf (may be compressed into svcpack.in_) in the [SetupHotfixesToRun] section.
Instructions can be found on msfn here.
