When Overflow fixes it, by capitalizing the 'RC' at the end of the file in the link, then you should be able to download it.

You need to recompress the pack so it does not have the file name and then the D directory.

@jinkazama I looked it over and it looks good I can't really test it as I don't have the hardware. The only thing you should do is post the MD5 hash.

Thanks and good work wink

@OverFlow excellent work on the RC2 release everything seems to be working really well for me on several live test installs. I have one question for you is there a way to stop the base from creating the txt file about the renaming of the 3rd party packs? Is there really a reason for the txt file other then letting you know it renamed it? I usually just delete them with a batch file but I would really like to not even have them created if it is possible.

Thanks,
dolivas

This file had to be renamed to be compatible with 8.3 filenames.

Original filename: DP_Input_wnt5_x86-32_070923.7z

Samuca1300 please read this post.
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2332

The drivers you posted are already in the latest DP 7.11.1 I just checked them and they are a perfect match. It you are using the latest DP and it still does not work please post your setupapi.log and DPsFnshr.log and I will see if I see anything wrong with the logs.

Thanks,
dolivas

Well the hwids would be nice to have I added the first drivers you listed seeing how they cover the same hwids and are newer. I added them as A\8 If I upload the pack will you be able to test it?

Thanks,
dolivas

@Jaak
Should I not just create an A8 folder and add theses new drivers? If I replace what is in B1 we will loose the covered modems in B1 it looks like most if the hwids in B1 are rem out and the new driver he posted also adds some hwids but not the ones covered in B1. Please advise

Thanks
dolivas

I will add the drivers what Emachine is this driver for? also please post the HWIDs

Hi OverFlow,

First off I would like to thank you for all the hard work you do on the base and the help you have provided me. I have tested the alpha release and I keep getting this AutoIt Error

@twig123 look in the pack and you will find a txt file or a change log file in each of the packs you asked about.

@Echo_Platoon the &REV_78 should not matter please post your setupapi.log ad dpfinisher.log so I can look them over I have already updated the pack with drivers you posted but I do not see anything in the inf file that would make the updated drivers work and not the old drivers. Once I get the log files I will look them over and post a test pack with the updated drivers for you to test.

Thanks,
dolivas

Excellent thanks for the feed back that is what we need.

Here you go please test out this nightly pack and report back.

Change log is in the zip file

I just checked the new pack 712.1 and those drivers are in the I1 folder and are an exact match for the files you posted . The were updated by Jaak/mr_smartepants on Oct 5 for pack 7.10 and appear to be the latest drivers where are you seeing the v14.32.0.4885

Hi everyone I just did a test install last night with all the new driver packs and noticed these error in the setupapi.log

E361 An unsigned or incorrectly signed file "C:\WINDOWS\DriverPacks\W\NoM\NWADIEnum.inf" will be installed (Policy=Ignore). Error 1151: The specified program is not a Windows or MS-DOS program.

#E361 An unsigned or incorrectly signed file "C:\WINDOWS\DriverPacks\3\X\U\2\tcusb2k.inf" will be installed (Policy=Ignore). Error 1151: The specified program is not a Windows or MS-DOS program.

Would you please post your log files here is what's in the pack in the At2 folder. As you can see the HWIDs match so I would like to see the logs to see why it is not matching up. The drivers in the pack are newer than the drivers you listed 08/17/2007,2.5.6000.5 vs what you posted 04/18/2007,2.3.6000.0 The ones in the pack are for the Atheros ( I am going to assume generic drivers) and the one you posted are for the Attansic everything else looks the same in the inf file except the name.

%Atheros.AtcL002% =     AtcL002.ndi, PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_2048&SUBSYS_82331043&REV_A0
%Atheros.AtcL002% =     AtcL002.ndi, PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_2048&SUBSYS_20481969&REV_A0
%Atheros.AtcL002% =     AtcL002.ndi, PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_2048

Done please test pack and let me know if it works.

Jaak did you not want to include the fix I posted for the SoundMax Control panel? I want to run one more test with the ini file like OverFlow suggested but I will not have time until tomorrow. The way I posted it before works fine and fix the directX sound test. I will add it to the latest test pack and retest it tomorrow.

Thanks,
dolivas

Excellent thanks for the update I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting time test things no one cares about. I will contiune to test and report back I would like to know if the HWID removal work Jaak has been doing is being tested? I have been testing it and it seems to have fixed several problems I was having with the sound packs.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and enjoy the family today......

Ok Guys I did not here back from anyone and wanted to get the updated packs up for testing so I removed 3 of the old modem packs from the old directory to create some room. I backed up the packs so if some one needs them or wants them posted back I will once someone creates extra space.

Thanks,
dolivas
