I think he means a feature that you would add all the driver packs to the source, however would bring up a dialog box before extracting drivers, so that you could choose what packs would be installed or not...

This would help for testing/compatibility issues... so that if you know that there is a known issue with.. lets say, AC97 sound causing BSoD on this hardware... you could uncheck the corresponding sound pack... and would still be able to get windows installed, without having to create a completely new source disk! plus the option to not install unneeded packs to save time, when they are not needed.

I myself would find the above feature VERY helpful.

the laptop webcam D-MAX is supported? sorry, i put this question because i have not seen any text file with the devices supported.
please, if it is supported, in which directory is it?
If not, can i update the driverpack webcam with the driver of D-MAX?

Thanks very much.

ATM I don't believe it is supported. But feel free to update it as needed.

Thanks for pointing this out guys... however not all of the items were created by me so I can't say about others... but I just found out that I've been being a dope... and forgetting the Solid feature. Unfortunatly I haven't yet had the free time to correct this....

*TV Pack - Hash corrected on 1st post

*Broadband Pack - Please use the pack from the first post untill it is changed.
Read here"http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1453"
...Still waiting on a reply from the user.

*Printer Pack Hashes - You can get to the by going to the "View the thread - Here" link. These are contained on the Original creators post.

*SOL Pack - is only for the Intel "Serial port Driver" & "Serenum Filter Driver" (Don't ask me, I have no clue who upped it or specifically it supports)

~Dave

I personally created a disk with all the DriverPacks and All the 3rd party packs (-printer packs).
Option 2, GUIRunonce
.... No issue, no lockups, no hangs... and ALL drivers were installed.....

So, as mr_smartepants stated, it sounds like we will need some more testing and info from your logs.

~Dave

U'm I've tried to download Boot Camp to extract the files.... however.. Everytime I download the BootCamp1.2.dmg file and try to convert it with UltraISO, MagicISO or the dmg2iso utility they all fail..... I have now downloaded the bootcamp file for the 5th time using 3 different sites..... I don't know what I am doing wrong, I can't help, if I can't get the files..

NP. This should explain it all:

02/03/2006
/A
ATEN USB to Serial V2.0.0.18 [07/16/2003]
/B
Belkin F5U003BD/UD and F5U103BD/UD USB to Serial
/MS
Microsoft USB GPS Driver
/M
Mobile Action
/N
Nokia Connectivity Adapter Cable
/P
Philips USB to Serial
/S
Sharp

RadioShack USB to Serial
/T
T-balancer

...all which are not parts of a motherboard... but rather external USB devices

Did you chose solid archive?

Ahh, you are a lifesaver! I guess I missed that option... I checked it, with my settings above... and resulting file was half the size of my packed file tongue

Thanks!

I unpacked the exe file from the Thomson website and did the "update drive" function however all it seems to do is re-order the file structure and doesn't change any of the files... (all MD5 Hash's are the same).

...So, I re-ordered the drivers to be the same DIR structure as listed above. (current driver is already the latest).
Maybe the DIR structure change will resolve it for you, however the driver does not say that it is for Win2k3... but why would we let that stop us for making it use it anyways?!  smile

P.S.
Someone has to enlighten me on the inner workings of 7zip files.... I removed and re-added the same amount of data... however the resulting file was more that double the size... even on Max settings.
Format: 7z
Compression Level: Ultra
Compression Method: LZMA
Dictionary Size: 128MB
Word Size: 273

Whats the deal?

Thanks! smile

I updated my All DriverPacks post to include this new pack/post. Great work!

Alright, you guys confirmed my thoughts... never hurts to ask. you never know if someone else is using some hidden software gems.

I'd also like to apologize for not being as active as I was in the past, but I am no longer at the PC repair shop... So I pretty much only have access to my couple systems.

Thanks, you guys are great!

OK, This might be a stupid question....

How do you guys test to see if your new drivers work correctly?
Do you have to format & reinstall a system with the hardware in it to test... or is there an easier way?
I have VirtualPC which I use to test my installs to make sure everything extracts......

Suggestions/Comments/Rude Gestures??

Any ideas?

I updated the 1st post with the temp link, could you re-upload it to the server for me please?

Edit:
I uploaded the new WebCam pack to the server, and replaced the temporary link in the first post.

Sorry for the delay guys, the last 7 days have been so stressy due to school that I haven't had the chance to visit the forums ONCE. DreamHost has moved me to another server, which caused the server URL to be invalid by now. I've now changed the first post to reflect the URL that will ALWAYS work.

I am still getting: "[R] Connection failed (Connection refused)" From FlashFXP
Any status?

Trying to update Logitech WebCam pack now...

No. and quite frankly... It probably never will be, because a printer is an optional piece of equipment. The Official driverpacks are aimed at getting only the computer and its vital system components working.

You can check in the 3rd Party Driverpacks thread for updates on unofficial packs for non-vital components such as printers... or check out my post Here for a list of current member submitted packs. We already have packs for Cannon Inkjet & Laserjet as well as a HP Printer pack.

Ditto, However... The Printer Packs are VERY large compared to some of the Official driver packs. So, I doubt they will ever be made official.

I was just waiting, because it was stated that the packs were going to be renamed, so it would have been pointless to update it, then just have to change it again so soon. But thank you for keeping up on things smile
