could the driver for the quickcam pro 9000 be added?
cant give a direct link as they wont allow it, but with the one i am sending you only have to select the file and press download

there are other ways to.
partition your hard disk, like just one of 5 gig for testing purposes.
make in windows that your active partition and install it and test your installations.
and once you have finished your installation and you have booted in your windows and are finished testing make your main partition active again.
works on xp and older windows versions (as long as you install on the right partition lol).
this way you can always test without imaging/replacing hard drives.
It is recommended to have bartpe ore something els to make your main partition active in case your newly build installation disk is having problems like a nice blue screen during installation ore something.
this might also work with vista because vista only looks for the active partition though this has not been tested by me.

quick question, is the beta base only for testing on sp3 or could it
also be used for testing on normal sp2?
asking because I cant test sp3, its only available in English and I got
a small licensing problem with English versions.

Yes because it is possible that the new code may have caused issues with
other service packs and OS's. technically windows 2000 and 2003 should
not be affected but we wont know for sure till it is tested...

in that map(D\M\S4B) I can only find 3112SUPP.CPL (witch is not mentioned in the inf file.)
cant really help with this only reporting it, found out while using sysprep -reseal.

got the same problem, its being worked one
been playing with the driver, and got it fixed at least for myself (think also for allot of other people), only need to find out who maintains the driverpacks sound a 
(to tell how to fix it )
though it only fixes the creative driver.... the soundmax driver I don't know.

Problem was solved, with the help of muiz!:)
created a cd from scratch with muiz (on msn) with meulc pack and stuf and it worked!!!!!!

cant use QSC 
it only can use QSC if I integrate masstorage driver pack.
but there is a bug in the driver/pack that causes a verry strange bsod
made a topic about it here
and yes I did try it with QSC enabled, but stil got the same thing posted in the other topic.
so any other sugestions?
btw isent QSC only for masstorage?
cause when it creates the map I only see the masstorage part.

but as I understand is that dp base wil slipstream the update.
dp base wont install it if meulc updatepack is detected.
but I did NOT use meulc updatepack or any onther update pack.
so someone plz explain it.....

got a bit of an strange bug,
I can start installing xp without any problems.
but when I get the last reboot (the reboot before dpfinisher starts) and then it boots again i get a bsod.
tried it with meulc (dutch) updatepack.
tried it with only the driverpacks.
and last I tried it with only the DriverPack MassStorage.
and everytime I get the same bsod.
so i think its the DriverPack MassStorage.
before I forget I used a clean install everytime I tried it again;) ( even slipstreamed xp sp2 again with the nice batch file from the tutorial on the front page )
and I also downloaded the raid drivers from my motherboard manufacturer, and used nlite to put the drivers on cd (so I can use my pc:P), I'm also providing a link to the drivers I used (the drivers that worked with nlite)
used the Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager Driver v6.0.0.1022 and the JMicron JMB363 RAID Driver V1.17.6.4
didnt know witch one of the 2 to use cause I always use driverpacks:P
but in if I look what was installed it only uses the Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager Driver v6.0.0.1022.
EDIT: after updating (windows update) I got the JMicron JMB363 RAID Driver V1.17.6.4 in the list of devices to:)
files I think I need to include

The log is in your C:\Windows directory, no longer at C:\. This was changed a couple of months ago.

seems like it didnt fully install, and coudent find a log file about it, so thats why I post with bug or request:)
