Check DriverPack Graphics A 6.09 out wink

Yep that's by design. It's not built to re-detect the DriverPacks. It's juist built to detect the DriverPacks at startup... But I'll change that in one of the next versions.

Yep.

Just copy the entire DVD to a directory on your hard disk and then slipstream the DriverPacks. Then create an ISO again and burn it to another DVD. That's it!

That depends on the method you will be using. Method 1 will require about 600 MB, method 2 290.

LOL

Why is it every time that I update any of my DriverPacks, a new driver is released within 24 hours after releasing the updated DriverPack? neutral

This time it's nVidia... they've just released the 91.47 driver... I'll update DriverPack Graphics A right away!

Yes that will void WHQL signing.

Which installation platform are you using?

Please check if any hdaud* files exist in %systemroot%\system32\drivers.

Than I downloaded the driver packs, klik on DriverPacks Base to extrakt. Than I have 4 files. I copy the driverpacks into the map Driverpacks. Now I am excuted DriverPacks Base .exe and what must I do than, because I get the same error everytime I klik on "slipstream".

Well.. you haven't configured anything yet. How will the DriverPack Sound B know where your Windows XP SP2's installations files are located? You have to go through the settings and ... set them!
You're expecting something like this: you're on an internet page with funny movies. You download it. Now you start your DVD burning software and you expect it to automatically burn all these funny movies to your DVD. Obviously that won't happen either.

Well you cannot apply makePNF.exe on the same files twice: Windows will detect the duplicates and just skip them! wink

Nope. Not in the past 6 years. You should try it: you can do soooo much more! wink

FOUND IT.

aarich.sys

Which is an older ICH found on SATA RAID controllers integrated with embedded Intel Xeon server boards. The model name is 6300ESB, nicknamed "Hance Rapids". A clue as to why these drivers may get cross referenced with the older IaStor is that apparently Intel released 875P development boards with the 6300ESB ICH chipset and a few production models exist for industrial applications (however almost all 875 consumer boards use ICH5 instead):

http://www.intel.com/design/intarch/man … 106101.pdf
http://www.portwell.com/embedded/ATX_Mo … 7703GA.htm

Strangely enough, the 6300ESB is still supported by intel in the latest chipset release: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts … bmit=Go%21

UPDATE: Found this page: http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/em … 300esb.htm

"Intel has integrated features into the 6300ESB ICH that offer the performance, stability and reliability customers require for embedded computing applications. It is a derivative of the Intel® 82801EB (ICH5) and builds upon the ICH5 design by improving bandwidth via PCI-X 64/66 and PCI 32/33 support. It also provides port 60/64 emulation, dual 16500 compatible UARTs, a two-stage watchdog timer, and 37 GPIOs."

So anyway, adding a ";" by aarich in SCSI.LOAD did the trick. Not sure on what the solution would be to have both drivers coexist without causing a mess, I'll leave that up to you smile

I'm tired (almost 4 AM here so won't start brainstorming about a final solution either). I'm glad it's solved. Won't use many words. In fact I'll just use one:

RESPECT!

Nice find!

(Ok granted, that make 3...)

Reopened. During our chat of a couple of minutes ago I discovered this HWID is supported by the current driver. But as you said, it won't work: you get a code 10 error. So I'll have to add this driver to the next update of DriverPacks-b to fix the problem...

You were right. The SiS driver is VERY confusing though: there are directories for Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 (and some others too), but they all have the same filenames! Just on a sidenote...

Fixed in 6.09!

Any progress with this problem?

After more comparing, I think I've been able to create an exception for this. We'll see if it works after the next update of the DriverPack Sound B... Stupid that I cannot test this myself.

Of course I can't verify my solution. If I only had an nForce 3 board to test it on... (if anyone got one in spare, lemme know wink )

perhaps you did not slipstream DriverPack Sound A

I did checked all DriverPacks in DP_BASE !

In that case, please post your DPs_BASE.log.

Retrying should not make a difference! wink

That guide is outdated. Just use the GUI and it'll work wink
