Yes it shows that the mass storage pack was successfuly added... Very well Done!

now... was DriverPacks the last thing you did before you burned your disk? (this is important)

can you please use the tool in my signature to provide the HWID for your Hard Drive controller...
(or all of them is fine)

were are very close to being done and working now!

Welcome to DriverPacks

thank you very much for your efforts!

Please see this topic and submit your language file in the established manner.

I will post a few highlights here

2. Make sure you have both an account here at the forum AND at the bugtracker.
3. I'll make you Translator here at the forum and Updater at the bugtracker. This allows users to report bugs in your translations, you will be notified, you can make the necessary changes and then submit it back to me, so I can put it in the next release.

3. Maintaining language files.
The more you use the bugtracker, the more you offload my job. And the cleaner this forum can be kept. So, please DO use the bugtracker whenever it's reasonable to do so.

1. Users can submit bugs at the bugtracker, that includes typo's to your language files.

DON'T POST UPDATES FOR YOUR TRANSLATIONS HERE IN THE FORUM (Again, doesn't clutter the forum, and easy to track for me. The forum is just meant for discussing translations: for suggesting improvements etc.)

Note 1: your first release can (MUST, actually) be added to the bugtracker as well.
Note 2: EACH TIME YOU UPDATE YOUR TRANSLATION, YOU MUST SUBMIT IT TO the bugtracker AND MARK IT AS 'RESOLVED'!!!

I am very happy that you have decided to give back to the community!

jeff

if we are lucky BIOS sets HardwareID GenNvRaidDisk or SCSI\*NVIDIA*Raid*

then we could easily substitute PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054&CC_0104 for one of the alternate HWID's reported
with luck there might be one that is unique for each one

I agree we need people to

devcon.exe hwids *CC_01* *Raid*

and report back!

the txtsetup entry should be simple to add to both platforms
are we sure we need it for normal slipstreaming?...

can we see your base log again?

I think as a group we could get you a few hundred good numbers wink LOL

Hee hee... stole my line... lol

Intel usually releases new chips in June so June and July are traditionaly big months for us here.

I also expect that the nightlies will be messy in the intel section for the short term...

but that is why we test, and why we need to have many others test with us
- many thanks to those of you who do !!!! (the Testing Team) - the list is growing too, thanks again!

if the nightlies have trouble... well...  that is what they are there for wink

We are very lucky to have some talented team members adding drivers.
We have almost no problems at all.
I wish i could think of something nice enough to say about them.

Thank You Team DriverPacks

for adding goodies see these two programs

nLite
WPI (windows post installer)

feel free to sumbit VietNamese

the DriverPacks are designed to be added to the installation media. (sounds like what you want)

we copy a windows install CD to the local hard drive
then we use the DriverPacks base program to add the DriverPacks
then burn the updated install folders back onto a new disk.

at what point in the tutorial did you start to get lost?

your PC shuts down faster? wink

Glad i could help...

Have a wonderful day
and i hope we see you around.

PS I will see if we can slip this or something similar into our mix somehow.

http://ubcd4win.com/forum/index.php?s=7 … entry61862

this driver exists in DriverPack MassStorage 805

folder D\M\N\5 is a dead ringer for the HWID PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054&CC_0104

[N-5]
ms_count=2
ms_1_deviceName="NVIDIA nForce 520 RAID/AHCI Controller"
ms_1_hwids="PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_037F&CC_0104,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0054&CC_0104,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0055&CC_0104,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_044C&CC_0104,PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_044D&CC_0106"

if you used DriverPack MassStorage 805 you should be able to see the HDDs

If only the masses shared your thoughts on that. wink

I am looking at it now
can you confirm that the DriverPacks mass storage plugin is present and enabled in pebuilder while i poke around?

could you please provide the HWIDS (if possable)

if you are not able to provide the HWIDS can you at least point us to an OEM driver (so we can download it) that you know works with this machine?

I am so pleased you found and used the Tutorial! looks like you read "read before you post" too... woo hoo! big_smile

Welcome to DriverPacks.
We're glad your here, and are looking forward to helping you

have a great day

PS moved to the BartPE forum - (still very high marks for a first post wink )

0The list of of supported substitutions was recently updated and it occurred to me that this list was not publicized.

I belive that most of our team is aware of a few of these already but probably did not realize there were so many.

by useing common abbr. we can let the forum subsitute for us. (in order to make them visible i have added a space charachter (or two) to each one (otherwise they would have been substituted automagicaly)

We appreciate your input although i think Bâshrat the Sneaky's mesasge is quite clear.

We no longer have any problems
Simple CDN has solved our mirror and download problems
and a new location for our site is easy enough to find.

re "but i think they were not designed to do this"

They sold us a package that included a certain amount of bandwidth - if they were not designed to do this then they shouldnt sell the service.

if you will notice you local ads in the paper and mailings most every one is now offering vista 64
since 64bit processors are last years technology they are standard now. (so are 32 bit OS's and software)
there is not much benifit to the 64bit hardware except in extreme cases (autocad, gaming, ect)
Software and driver support for 64bit is severely lacking, but will catch up soon (but only for aplications that actually will benifit).
email, word and paint are not going to run any better even if they were 64bit wink

What files are in the OEM folder on your CD?

or can you post your DPs_BASE.log?
