We don't use WinZip.  We use 7-zip.

That's an old card!  They should both be covered under DriverPack Graphics C.

I've encountered this bug now as well.
I'm all over it!

I was afraid of that. sad
Those damn nvidia platform drivers!
I've built more than a few 6150/430 machines when they came out.  Very popular for HTPC builds.
But, because all the components are so tightly integrated, we need to update all the DriverPacks simultaneously (chipset/audio/graphics/LAN/MassStorage).

Try "Method 2", it's much better.
Also, post your DPs_BASE.log.  It'll be more helpful.

Thank you!
@OverFlow, Jeff, I think we have a new candidate for "Testing Team" status...what do you think?

You have no idea how happy I am that your X-Fi works! big_smile
I've spent a long time on that and yours is the first confirmed positive feedback.
Thank you!

We're working on fixing an issue with Realtek drivers.  Can you confirm that your PC (no. 1) sound works?  Go to your Sound control panel and try to play a system sound (any sound).
If it doesn't, I've uploaded a new DriverPack Sound A here:

Thanks for the report.
Can you try these?

No.

First and last warning.
You're using the same IP address as someone previously banned for spamming the forums (omiban).  We are not stupid!
I've deleted your other two posts since they're too closely related to this one.
Bring this on-topic to DriverPacks -related problems or you'll get banned again.

That's probably for a modem in your system.  Or possibly a rogue LAN device not covered by DriverPack LAN.
Can you post your DPs_BASE.log?

That's a bad idea.  Don't do that.  (too late...) wink
You'll need to reinstall your system if you can't even get to Safe Mode.
You could always try in in-place upgrade (boot from the DVD and select "upgrade".  All you settings/programs should remain intact.

You should be able to do that with Win7 Enterprise and Active Directory on a domain, just like you can with XP and Vista.
I'm not sure what environment you're using.

Many drivers support Vista/Win7 with no modification whatsoever.  ATI/Nvidia do this by default.  I'm certain we'll be maintaining that configuration in the future.

midiboy wrote:

as has been posted in the MSFN forum, you need to expand the compressed dl_, ex_, sy_ etc. files while keeping the "_" at the end of the extension otherwise dism will throw an error ...

Sorry, but that doesn't even make sense.  Why would you have an uncompressed file WITH the "_" in the filename which designates it as compressed.  Leaving the files in their compressed state won't harm anything (other than DriverPacks compression size.)
I don't see anything in the M$ documentation regarding compressed/decompressed drivers, but IIRC in order to integrate properly they MUST be digitally signed.
Link to proof please?

Thanks cdob!  I don't know what we'd do without your help.

I really need to figure out how to install the WinXP driver for the video card.

This is off-topic for this thread.  Please open a new thread in the correct area and post your HWID list, DPs_BASE.log, & DPsFnshr.log.  I'm certain that's directly supported in the latest DriverPack Graphics A.  I'll have a look.

azcoder wrote:

Please take a look at the CX_80257.inf or CX_80264.inf files (Graphics_A) to see how I might change them for Win2k.

That's not going to happen.  At least not from me nor in the near future.  I just don't have the time.  ATI only supports W2k up to Radeon x850, that's 4 generations behind your card.  You can download the ATI w2k drivers and have a look at the .inf differences and try it yourself.
