It's possible.  I'll download those and compare them.

LOL, nvidia calls the physx installer from within their .inf (same with their HDaudio installer).  The installation happens around T-34.

Looks to me like everything installed fine.  I'll go through the .inf again.  It's possible that a needed file is missing.

Yes, we've definitely drifted well off-topic.  Happens all the time...
I can always be reached at mr_smartepants at DriverPacks dot net
Email me the three logfiles and I'll see what's going on with your laptop.  It's certainly something screwy with the mobility.inf.
I'll see what I can do.  You may be asked to test a nightly build of DriverPack Graphics A to see if it solves your problem. smile

Yes, I am using an os that I didn't pay for.  I would question whether you have/are.

It's certainly fair for you to ask.  I've always paid for my OS's or I use the OEM versions that matches the SLP sticker attached to the system.  That's why I made the OEM XP autoscan activation addon (linked in my signature).  I'm also assisting in the development of a Win7 OEM autoscan addon as well.

doubleJ wrote:

I still don't see ability to attach.  Am I missing something?

Click the "E-mail" hyperlink under my name.  Directly to the left of this post.  roll

Compress them all (rar, 7z, cab, doesn't matter) and email as a single attachment.  (email under my name)

I find it very difficult to believe that SP3 would cause overheating.
Also using a VLK source in a home setting is VERY unorthodox because of the nature of the license.  Your best bet is using the OEM method your notebook came with (which also does not require online activation).

*Edit,
I'm also finding it difficult to believe you're not violating the terms of the VLK license by using it at home.  Prove me wrong.
From wikipedia:

Typically the licence ... must only be within the licensee's organisation ...  If a volume licence key becomes known and used outside of the organisation it is licensed to then this is regarded as software piracy.

We at DriverPacks do not support or condone software piracy.

Sounds suspiciously like a pirate-request to me.  If you don't speak English, why do you need English-ONLY DriverPacks?
We do not make custom DriverPacks, except in extreme cases where specific testing is required or experimental process is used.

Yes, Overflow is correct.
We'll need to see your DPs_BASE.log, DPsFnshr.log, and possibly your %windir%\setupapi.log after you reformat (if you've deleted those logs).
Follow the link Overflow posted since it indicates where the logs are located.  Make sure you post the right DPs_BASE.log since it will have changed if you re-ran DriverPacks BASE since the main integration.

Just curious, why are you using a VLK source and NOT integrating SP3? I would have thought all companies would have upgraded to SP3 by now for security purposes.

Welcome to DriverPacks!

Looks very nice.  Thank you for sharing.

I still do not understand what Shadow is trying to say.  English not your first language?  That's OK, just try a better translator (Google is not bad).
Are you saying you want to extract the drivers to a different location during setup?  Overflow is right, this has been asked before.

Moved to hardware...
I have a logitech quickcam fusion (built in mic).  The software does OK with the color/light balance but it's not perfect.  Are you sure you're using the latest drivers/software?

Perfect! smile
I did the same thing before I released the runtimes Third Party DriverPack.  I contacted Yumeyao to get his permission to redistribute his work with the .NET installers before I released.  Using the installers direct from the source sidesteps this issue (a bit).

Well, I wouldn't say they're giving them away. wink
But you're right that we should taper off (NOT drop) support for nt5-based OS's and concentrate all our firepower on nt6-based OS's.

The current version of DriverPacks BASE only works with nt5-based sources (2000/XP/2003).  We are working on developing a tool to integrate DriverPacks into nt6-based sources (Vista/Win7).
At the moment, only the dism-tool and WinIntegrator can integrate drivers, but the DriverPacks must be unpacked first.

Moved to the ubcd4win forums.

Have you tried a normal DriverPacks BASE integration into a standard XP source to see if the driver works at all on your hardware?  And not just a BartPE problem?
I'm just trying to determine if it's an incompatible driver or a configuration problem.

Your motherboard is not the problem.  YOUR METHOD is the problem.
This is a DriverPacks support forum.

You still have not answered our questions.  We cannot help you if you don't give us the information we need.
I expect you to answer the following questions.  Any commentary OTHER than answering the questions below will probably result in you being banned for wasting our time.  (It's obvious you did NOT read the "READ before you post" link. neutral

1) Have you read our DriverPacks tutorial and are you having problems integrating DriverPacks into your XP source?  (if so, then post your DPs_BASE.log and DPs_BASE.ini)
2) Do the DriverPacks integrate OK and XP install OK with only driver-related problems?  (if so, then post your DPsFnshr.log)
3) Give us very specific details on HOW you build your XP source and WHAT the driver problem actually is.

Did you try using DriverPacks?
Please read the tutorial linked in my signature.
THEN, if you run into problems, read the "read before you post" thread and post the required information.

Welcome to DriverPacks.

Well, if the normal DriverPacks integration works but the SAD install does not, then this is similar to what proximous was reporting a few weeks ago.  The built-in XP nvidia drivers (null driver) are in fact interfering somehow with the newer driver install.  I don't know what I can do about it, but I'll keep digging.  I have a gut feeling that the problem stems from the dpinst switches that we're using or the dpinst xml settings. Using nlite for driver removal is only a temporary answer, not a solution.  The nvidia .inf files are unmodified.

I can only recommend that you use the normal DriverPacks install method.
