Restarted, checked Device mgr... still listed as disabled.

Vista setup finally running here (had to unpunk that machine some..)
See you later.
Please stay ontopic
hi, we are..
I wanted to try find out how come finisher did not run, and first thing i had to ask is about the sif.
vista is on, I gotta transfer some folders to that rig.
I want to see wether I can reproduce the error antonio got, is all.
follow up
host is vista ultimate
dps_base streamed a XP pro, (this is on a CLEAN COPY, NO OTHER programs were used on it..)
no error seen during streaming driverpacks.
(method 2, all released packs, txtmode, KTD all, defaults... )
I must still burn. Will run setup on other testrig tomorrow, after work.
Ok, now my thoughts are the drivers are just incompatible with the hardware i'm installing on...
I compiled my XP pro disc on an XP machine and still get the problem.
Hi
are these all identical machines then?
you can run hwids on the machine (tool in Bâshrat the Sneaky signature), and post the result.
Nope machines arn't identical...
here are the names of two of the affected video controllers...
Intel 82865G
Intel 82845G
please run SAVE_HWIDS on these machines, and post result?
use link in Bâshrat the Sneaky signature

both VGA devices, vendor ID and main type, is found, but SUBSYS is not found in packs
what brand are these computers? and what models are these?
Can you please show us links to support pages for driver downloads?
ok, they're...
HP DX2000 Micro Tower (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Te … 1093#11360)
Dell GX260 (http://support.euro.dell.com/support/do … eid=169012)
Ok, I might have figured the problem out...
Tried to extract Graphics A and B, both keep coming up with CRC failures on dozens of files in the pack.
I've redownloaded over and over again but still getting CRC failures.
So looks to me like corrupt drivers!

Or a corrupted HDD or corrupted RAM on your end.
Not trying to blame you, but I haven't had a corrupted DL from here in a long time, and, judging by their silence, this is also true for other members
I agree, though, that some MD5 sums would be great to have (as we do for the 3rd party DriverPacks).
Did you try 7-Zip's "Test Archive" functionality yet?
downloaded the two graphics archives and both are extracting ok now with no errors, I'm just testing another disc now.
Seems to work ok now!! So thats what it was... corrupt archives. lol
