Helmi, plz update Misc pack link in the 1st post.
Jaak: the 3g things are actually System Devices so should be in main packs (just looked at the ClassGUID)
that's fine with me, thanks for your help.
Maybe you could add this link to the 1st post ?
http://3rdpartydriverpacks.thesneaky.co … 2/?C=M;O=A
I class the downloads by date so I know which one is most recent, plus if we update the 1st post links couple of days after an update is released people can still access the file by using the ftp link.
Splendid idea, could have been one of my own
Done, and updating with the latest packs also done!
Modem was updated plz fix the link.
Misc link is broken, theres a typo error.

Hi guys, is there any chance some nice sole could fix the links for:
(aka)HID
HP Printers
Smart Card Readers
They don't seem to be working,
Thanks.
The whole host seems to be down ATM, so I can't do anything about the links (can't even verify whether they'd still be valid or not).
Give it a couple of hours/days...
Link for DriverPack Modem: 7.09.22 don't work
can you fix it please
I corrected the modem link.
It looks as though someone has uploaded another Modem pack and moved the old one, however did not provide a changelog for the new pack (v7.11.20) Whoever upped this file please provide a changelog so we can link to the file if needed.
Thanks

Hi,
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2159
Dolivas included changelog.
I just posted the changelog in that REQ topic I link to here..
thanks for the link.
Corrected both Monitor & Modem links.
However, HP Printer, SmartCard and Misc all have been upped to the server.. and again need changelog info as I was unable to quickly find any.

Yes, I am well aware of this link, however, the packs that I stated do not have a posts that I can find stating that the pack was being released, nor a changelog with the current changes... correct me if I'm wrong. But IMO, I don't like linking to 'unknown' packs that just appear on the server
@twig123 look in the pack and you will find a txt file or a change log file in each of the packs you asked about.
Hi Dolivas
(This is for all helpers/contributors)
I can see what causes this.
A REQ topic gets posted by a member, and a DriverPacks helper decides to make a new Pack.
The helper replies about the new Pack in the REQ topic, and that won't change its title, because the member asking for the addition does not change it when asked to do so (if he gets asked at all, that is).
The result is that we see a new DP in the downloads, and no topic about the release.
What can be done about this?
When the Pack was tested and the requestee (or others) tell the helper it loaded that new driver just fine, the helper can post a RELEASE topic.
The helper could ask a senior team member or moderator or main team to do this for him, but this is not the best solution either.
For MODEM I posted a release once, and several people posted replies with new requests, or posted there was a new pack ready, etc, in that topic.
I edited the topic title and first post so that we would have some sort of history on the pack.
BUT, doing that, we get a situation where a year old topic gets edited and re-edited, and edited all over again and again, which makes reading the edited topic a "erm" very weird experience because everything is referrring to stuff you don't read about no more..
That's why we would rather have that a tested third party DP gets a proper RELEASE topic by the creator.

txt files/changelogs don't seem to match dates/pack versions...

My thoughts exactly
update:
OMG, i wrote really long post, sry4 that, and sry 4 my poor english, please have patience and read it.
Hi every1,
This is my first post
INTRO
I am msfn.org member for a few years.....
Few days ago i needed to slipstream SP2 into WINXP, then i discovered RyanVM integrator(it was all coz i was 2 lazy to integrate SP2 manually in command prompt ), and then i discovered DriverPacks and read about , so at first i didn't know what it is, then i did some research and somehow i found driverpacks.net(and read "How did it come into existance? (A brief history)") and this forum.
-When i realized the potential of this idea i got the chills, but then again i was a bit skeptical coz i dont know how a windows during setup in installation process uses another drivers(DRIVERpacks).....well this part is still unclear to me , and i like to know how these things work, doh.
Huh, okay, i see i started to blabber, so let me get to my questions:
I have laptop ASUS X51R and it has "ATI raedeon xpress 1100".
I slipstreamed all driverpacks(all ten of them), and i tried it at my desktop PC(also with radeon card) and all was perfect, coz all hardware drivers was detected and installed from the packs...incredible, worked like a charm.
-Then i tried it with my ASUS X51R laptop and VGA(ATI raedeon xpress 1100) drivers didn't install nor the modem drivers, but ati SMB and wireless drivers installed successfully.
1)Are drivers for ATI raedeon xpress 1100 included in 3rd party driverpacks?
2)Is it safe to use(slipstream) all ALL driverpacksRepacked from this post http://3rdpartydriverpacks.thesneaky.co … 2/?C=M;O=A
thanks in advance
Welcome to DriverPacks dado023,
No need to aplologize. Many people here do not speak english as thier primary language, Bâshrat the Sneaky included.
If you have found your way here by the route you described it is likely you will become a regular - sorry...
It works because it is a feature that is, and has been, built into windows.
if microsoft did not offer an avenue for OEM's to add the required drivers to windows setup
then it would be very costly to mass produce machines.
there is probably a reference driver for your 1100 in the packs but since laptops are so picky it may be we need to add the ASUS driver too...
Please let us know what your HWIDS are and if you know where we can find the drivers at ASUS a link is considered polite. please start a thread over in the Graphics forum. check my signature for tools and info.
have a great day!
Thanks for the welcome,
I have done as you suggested, so i have opened another thread, posted WHIDS and posted an ASUS link.
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 356#p18356
I hope that will be enough
But the same question bothers me again: is it safe to integrate all 3RDparty drivers, from this thread, will they conflict, i mean did Bâshrat the Sneaky approve it?
Just want to add my thanks for this incredibly useful topic!
The following links are broken:
TV
WebCam
Logitech
Input
While I downloaded these from the index page as suggested, I can't find the Logitech pack anywhere. I scanned this topic and I don't find any mention of it being discontinued either. Where has it vanished to?
