@TechDud

Thank you, i will try it.

Only note - yes you are right, IS WHQL'ed for w2k, Server2k3, & Server2k8 (32 bit), but you must
download it as 2008 32 bit driver - there is no official support from vendor for windows 2003.

I must wait for the HW from my customer, then i will send feedback.

@lkm020

Thank you, it was a big help for me. Only note - extracting Storport.sys isn't so tricky.
You only need to extract WindowsServer2003-KB939315-x86-ENU.exe from downloaded file with 7zip
and then run WindowsServer2003-KB939315-x86-ENU.exe -x as any microsoft hotfix.

Once more, thank you.

P.S. Did you resolve the i2omp.sys problem - i have sometimes on some servers the same problem.

%subj has new PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1c04&SUBSYS_3118103C for HpAHCIsr.sys HP Smart Array B110i SATA RAID Controller.
There is NO windows 2003 driver on vendor support page so i tried Windows 2008 32bit driver - and it seems to function.

http://goo.gl/rf0Je

I changed in file DriverPack_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini line nr 407

from

ms_7_hwids="PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3a25&SUBSYS_3118103C,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3b25&SUBSYS_3118103C,PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4391&SUBSYS_1778103C"

to

ms_7_hwids="PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3a25&SUBSYS_3118103C,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3b25&SUBSYS_3118103C,PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4391&SUBSYS_1778103C,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1c04&SUBSYS_3118103C"

and changed 3 files HpAHCIsr.* in \D\M\C to version 6.14.0.32

and is working - but of course is a little bit experimental :-)

probably the same can be done for

HP ProLiant Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Driver  HpCISSm2.sys from

http://goo.gl/fqMJu

Thank You

p.s. I'm using DPMS like boot, so i don't slipstream drivers.

I really don't think my question (or "question" for you) was so impolite or rude.

What i wanted to resolve is next :

I don't slipstream ANY driverspacks to my Bart. I always use Kares Driver Import PE for any drivers -
mass storage, network .. There is no problem to import any of your packs including chipset, sound ...
The boot this way is beyond compare quicker and prohibit possible drivers conflicts.
But some new nb (especially Dell) with newest chipset go to 07 bsod without any aditional drivers.
I know of course, that 7b is storage oriented, but in this case is AHCI bios mode problem. Some Bios
have no choice to disable it. On manufacturers pages you can find that is chipset drivers problem.
So i  thought (and i can be wrong of course) it can help to integrate chipset drivers.

I am realy long in bussines, but i NEWER think im smarter than any other person. From my experience
i learned to be ALWAYS modest as possible. If i think that i am smarter i would do it for myself.

So i thing your response was overstated and inadequate.

Tribute for your work.

Hello

Is it possible to integrate %subj ?
It would be great for new pc's to avoid 7b BSOD, but this option is greyed out.

Thanks

For your information :

Experimental Driverspack http://www.mediafire.com/file/1h4namjby … _1107b2.7z for user Yekyaa

Thank you for quick solution.

Hello

DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1106 don't recognize this controller.
I see it should be supported [L6] ? but it isn't.

@cdob
I'm sory, i cann't do that. This was one of my customer server. For me is mostly so, that i need to repair it quick as possible and mostly on customer office
so that i usually don't have time to experiment and build test configurations of bart.
( thats why i am looking for most universal solution for my BartPE).
Everything i can say is that version 804 doesn't see this controller on ML115

I hope you guys can find a sollution. Thank You.

Hi again

I was out of mail for some time, so back to initial problem ...
Today the customer gave me time for one test restart, so i tried
new build with driver pack v127. And ...bsod 0A(0x6ced4000,0x...2,0x...1,0x8061f916)
BUT i checked again the build i know was functional and i was WRONG.
Driver Megaide DriverVer=11/07/2002,2.5.2002.1107 was the one used on
installed system, but the one on my old bartpe was according to txtsetup.sif
cmdide.sys ver 2.0.7.0 (i am really suprised).

So now i know really nothing

hi
a mass storage driver you put in third party will only get looked at after windows has set up up and reboots into Plug N Play detection phase.

Put in third party, the mass storage driver would not be used for hard disk detection, which is what most people need. (during TXTmode, when windows setup is started.)

I saw other requests about this HP model, and have FOUR mass storage drivers to look at for this thing.
I just got up, and if it looks like I must work around duplicates (Like in, it is no update but uses same filenames), then I think I will make a TINY pack as a temporary solution.

this would be tested by you.
it MUST be tested by you.
If it works, and I have to do extra work to combine it into the released pack, then you MUST test the full pack too.
That's the deal.

I will do my best.
The only problem is, that this is one of my customer server and it is a file server, so i must  arrange time for shut down, but i will manage it.

Thank you

sorry check the other post ill put up an old one for you... ps its a good idea to keep the old CD/DVD's you create just for this reason. (i am sorry if you dont have older versions cause your a noob!)

edit......

i did some checking and i dont think these drivers were ever in the packs.

Of course i have old builds, i am not so stupid, but i don't want go back to self made drivers pack; i think thas is spur track.

These drivers were in the pack of course ! (its LSI MegaRaid)

you cant support the primary hard drive useing a 3rd party DriverPack .... why ? what's the difference ? I had the idea to do something like is alredy made with
iastor55.inf (rename the driver and use it for particullar HWID only)

I urgent need this one to work. So i decided to make my own "3dparty extension". I want make for this particular HWID only my own
3rd Party DriverPacks with renamed driver name. But what i didn't find (or didn't saw) - do i need to edit original inf in original drivers pack (if its possible at all), or has HWID in 3rd Party DriverPacks precedence in case of duplicate entry ?

Sorry for newbie question :-)

Thanks

I am new here, so hi all !
I was used to make my driverspack for my BartPE by myself. I need especially drivers for everything from HP.
Some time ago i made decision to switch to DriverPack MassStorage (Ultimateboot cd plugin).
Today first problem on customer site. HP ProLiant ML310 G1 with integrated LSI Megaraid IDE 100.
VEN_1095&DEV_0649&SUBSYST_007E0E11 REV 02
On my old Bart i used driver downloaded from HP site Megaide DriverVer=11/07/2002,2.5.2002.1107; boot without problem.
My new BartPe based on DriverPack v711 BSOD - i think driver Megaide DriverVer=07/09/2003,4.1.0709.2003 D/M/L/*.*.

Some solution ?

Thank you
