Well Intel mass storage is used by like 80% of the users pc...so when there is a problem with it, we know it pretty fast.

Well I am currently working on an update which might fix that issue.

The only difference I could think is that some drivers like jmicron and nvidia add registry keys other than the one you mentionned.

[pnp_pci_addreg]
HKR, Parameters\PnpInterface, 5,                 0x00010001, 0x00000001

This one in particular if missing could cause BSOD specially with nVidia.

OfflineSysprep took care of this issue, so I would recommend using it instead of injecting all storage drivers into your image, you can only inject the one detected in your PE...by doing that you prevent driver from conflicting with one and other.

I know WinPe require the *.oem files for mass storage drivers which we remove so...that's problematic.

What's the point of integrating graphic drivers into PE ? You plan playing Call Of Duty on PE or what ? LAN, Chipset and Mass covers everything needed for emergency CDs.

Nice to see that you are still around Rick. Welcome back.

This could go in the misc pack, is the application really necessary ? I never heard of USH drivers before.

There is a newer version of this driver in the latest nightlie:

http://driverpacks.sytes.net/driverpack … -32_902.7z

Your driver is part of the latest nightlie:

http://driverpacks.sytes.net/driverpack … -32_902.7z

Why don't you just download the file and read the changelog ?

Well there is no magic solution. Each times there is a driver  update, I compare the old and the new one using Araxis Merge folder compare. Then I can identify in the INFs if new HWIDs were added or dropped. I also make sure the driver is not conflicting with other drivers by doing a simple search with all hwids. I will also remove obsolete files by looking which files are critics in the INF. I remove 64 bits driver files too. The key thing is really to make sure that each HWID are unique.

Intel AMT HECI - This one was missing I will add it.
Intel Mobile Chipset - There is a newer driver in our test pack.
Intel AMT SOL/ LMS - This one was missing I will add it.
Ricoh R5C847 - You can find a newer ricoch driver in the misc pack http://3rdpartydriverpacks.thesneaky.co … 2_90122.7z

I will send you a link for a test pack when I'm done.

All the info we needed. Thank you, I'm sure abdou will add it when he have the chance.

Maybe you could give a try ? big_smile

I'm not sure but I think some drivers for vista works for windows 7.

XP 64 bits ? I don't believe many users out there actually use XP 64 bits. If Windows 7 is released on time those users will move to windows 7 64 bits, enterprises as well. Since we are very limited in resources of people doing the packs I don't believe it will happen. However if anybody out there wanna get involved in the project, well why not. Personally, I don't have time for XP 64 bits. I'm still working on XP packages and when windows 7 SP1 is released I will do the switch.

I would try without HID 1st. And yes this problem happened in the past but I can't remember which driver caused it. Maybe Synaptics, not sure.

Read 1st post, carefully this time.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829 is supported by I3 and I4, however some ppl reported bsod with I4, so 9.01 will use I3 for your device, we had positive feedbacks on this one.

Intel updated their matrix storage driver, maybe they fixed the issue.

JMicron driver was updated in 9.01 and BSOD with AHCI/RAID mode was fixed, please read the changelog before asking us what's new. You can also read JMicron changelog on their FTP. Saying you tried many mass storage packs...don't give us any clue. However mentioning which versions you tried is helpful, please try the last one (9.01) and let us know.

I fixed your link Fragbert, I will try to update the pack this weekend then it's going final!

I will disable the ones I judge "less important" for the next pack.

I will update this driver in the next pack, it should fix the problem.

lieblingsbesuch have you tried our latest pack 9.01 ? You never mentioned which version you used ?  Please provide us more details else I will close the topic.

You can find the latest jmicron driver at:

ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/Win2k_xp_Vista/

9.01 use 1.17.45

You can try 1.17.45 write cache disabled and 1.17.46 beta

I will update the pack to 1.17.46 when it's WHQL.
