Post the HWIDs for the offending system please?
Also, post the relevant portion of %systemroot%\setupapi.log so we can find out which .inf is causing the problem.

Yes, that fix is in the latest release candidate.
If you could test and report either success or failure, we would greatly appreciate it.
We are very close to releasing both DriverPack Sound A & B 10.03! smile

If you haven't noticed, we've refreshed our updatetracker with new updated LAN, WLAN, Graphics A & B (and languages), Sound A & B DriverPacks for NT5-based OS's (Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server).
Please review the updatetracker for download links, MD5 hashes and changelogs.
Thanks to the whole DriverPacks Team and Testing Team for making this possible.

It's not the current version (v12), but free is free!  Offer is likely time-limited, so hurry.
Use a disposable email address (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc.) since the company will continuously send you email once a week of offers. neutral

   1. Fill out this registration form to receive your license key

   3. activate your software via the instructions found in the email sent to your account

This should already be implemented in the current 10.02 DriverPack LAN.
Can you please test and confirm?
I'll leave this thread stickied for now.

I just downloaded from the link 4 posts above and verified the MD5, d\w\i1\* is all THERE! smile
Verify your MD5 for DriverPack WLAN 100211 is "59190886712e453e79402beedb5a367f"

That's because I didn't change I5.  I changed W\I1 wink

Normally, driver requests go in the thread that would supposedly support that hardware (ie, network driver requests go in DriverPack LAN or DriverPack WLAN threads, graphics driver requests in DriverPack Graphics A, B or C threads.)
Please let us know what we're missing and we'll do our best to add it.  If we can support it quickly enough, can we also expect you to test it for us on your customer's hardware? wink

If you had bothered to at least try our DriverPacks, you would have noticed that that HWID is already covered by DriverPack Chipset 10.02 by the file D\C\I1\ibexsmb.inf
You couldn't even Google it correctly.  Lazy!
Welcome to DriverPacks!

We have a testing version of both DriverPacks BASE and dpms in work with our testing team.
If you had used DriverPacks BASE on your source before, and your .org files are gone, then you really should start your source from the beginning using original discs.

The Nvidia files are not missing.  I already replied to you once for your LAN "issue".

The files get renamed during install in the [*.CoInstFiles] sections.

I'm not sure about the Ali and ATI files.

Your problem has already been fixed in the latest nightly.
We're working on building a newer release candidate.  Hopefully we'll be ready to release very soon.

Do you know which folder was used to install the wrong drivers?  The clue would be in your %windir%\setupapi.log
Just search for "VEN_8086&DEV_24C5" and you'll find the section.  Can you post that section here?

Welcome to DriverPacks! smile
LOL, the *.org files are the ORiGinal virgin copies before DriverPacks BASE modifies them.  That statement above is just letting you know that DriverPacks wasn't previously integrated and we don't need to remove them or to restore the ORiGinal (*.org) files before integrating the newer DriverPacks.
Does that make better sense? smile

No they're not.  They haven't been renamed yet.  They get renamed on install.
Have you seen a "file not found" error?  No, you didn't.

Here's a link from M$ on .inf section breakdown: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms790193.aspx
And specifically, the portion of the "copyfiles" directive: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms794560.aspx

Microsoft wrote:

Each named section referenced by a CopyFiles directive has one or more entries of the following form:

[file-list-section]
destination-file-name[,[source-file-name][,[unused][,flag]]]

And here's the section from \NV1\nvenetfd.inf (the others are similar).

[NVENET_XP.CopyFiles]
NVENETFD.sys,nvefdxp.sys,,2

Understand now? wink

Of course they did!

Sigh...downloading...

*Edit
Oddly, the newer version has an older date in the .inf! sad
09/15/2009    13.0.0.107
10/26/2009    12.4.4.5

That's already supported in the latest release candidate. smile
I should be making it a release very soon.

I think it got deleted and the related INI entries sad

Well, I didn't delete any drivers or entries.  I only updated existing drivers.

OK, I moved the RIS drivers to the \RIS\ folder (how original eh?) smile
I'm also adding the BartPE exception code to \HP1\ and a few others.  The \RIS\ section won't have a BartPE exception because as I read it, that section must be used...right?

What's a Joshua driver?
I've got all the intermediate builds of DriverPack LAN all the way back to 8121.  Just tell me what folder it's in and I'll find it.

I'm finalizing this pack now.  I hope to have it finished by Monday.
Speak now or forever hold your peace! wink
