This should be fixed in DriverPack Chipset & dpms 1009 which I'm finalizing now.
We are still waiting for supporting information from the original poster.

We're still waiting for your report.
Please hurry.  I'm finalizing DriverPack Chipset 1009.

The Realtek \R1\ folder has the generic HWID that covers yours.  That's the problem.
I have the correct driver, I'll add it to DriverPack Sound B 1009

What is the full HWID (with subsys) of the soundmax soundcard?

Don't include the bluetooth Third Party DriverPack!
The current version is beta and has known problems.
For a short-term solution, remove the bluetooth Third Party DriverPack .ini from the pack.

Welcome back!

[OT MODE ON] same problem with AMD SB850, installed a system with floppy drive tongue [OT MODE OFF]

Wrong thread, but same fix.
Paste the following code into a new file "DriverPacks-amdfix.cmd", then copy the .cmd file to your XP source directory: %source%\i386\DriverPacks-amdfix.cmd
Then double-click.

copy setupreg.hiv setupreg.hiv.%random%.sav

reg.exe unload HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM
reg.exe load HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM setupreg.hiv

reg.exe add "HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\amdsata\Parameters\PnpInterface" /f /t REG_DWORD /v "5" /d 1
reg.exe add "HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\amdxata\Parameters\PnpInterface" /f /t REG_DWORD /v "5" /d 1
reg.exe add "HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\amdeide\Parameters\PnpInterface" /f /t REG_DWORD /v "5" /d 1
reg.exe add "HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\ahcix86\Parameters\PnpInterface" /f /t REG_DWORD /v "5" /d 1

reg.exe unload HKLM\loaded_SYSTEM

Run DriverPacks BASE to add dpms (w/ txtmode on). Rebuild your XP source .iso.  Retest.

The above code will edit the hive registry entries and add  the lines needed by the AMD drivers

Bump.
I really like this idea!  It kills the whole "I don't remember what I did" aspect from our support. wink

Can you post your DPs_BASE.log and DPsFnshr.log please?
At the very least, run the HWID tool linked in our sigs and post accurate HWIDs along with the DriverPacks used (w/ version #s)

Did you test inbetween sessions?  ie, add SP3, test, add updatepack, test, add tweaks, test, add DriverPacks, test.
It's the tried & true method for ensuring error-free integrations.

OK, I'll get to work on a fix for 1009r2.
Please keep the reports coming!  Good and bad.

I tested the new DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1009r1.7z but didn't work for me same problem.

Does it work if you move PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829&CC_0106, from [I4] to [I3] in the .ini?

Got it.  I'm working on other updates for this Third Party DriverPack

Ah, I remember reading that too.  I think it's buried in the bartpe threads.
Nope, it's here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 325#p30325

14&15 not working sad
in my bios, the controller configuration is: ide || ahci || ahci(linux) || raid
EDIT:
i don't understand why if i integrate the driver with nlite works... DP not modify the same files?

Ah, that is a clue.  I wonder what nlite does differently to the setup files...
I don't use nlite anymore, but I'll do a test integration...just to find out.

Nice.  Should be easy to implement for the next version of DriverPacks BASE.

SP3?

Try test packs #14 & #15 without any changes.  Just as-is.  And report back the results.
dev_0ab9 is a bus-driver, not raid.  You modifying the txtmode for raid will just cause problems.
Besides, 99% of notebooks don't use RAID anyway.
Just use the #14 & #15 packs as they are and report back.

Good find Pouria!
That driver is a direct replacement for both DriverPack Sound B \I\ and \I7\
It looks like a solid newer generic replacement.  I'll get to work putting it in a release candidate!

OK, I have this fixed in my local copy of DriverPack Graphics C.
If you want to test it out, then modify DP_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32_1009r1\D\G\S3e\S3SAVG4.INF
change

[S3.Mfg]
S3 Inc. Savage4 = S3SAVAGE4, PCI\VEN_5333&DEV_8A22&SUBSYS_8A225333

to read

[S3.Mfg]
S3 Inc. Savage4 = S3SAVAGE4, PCI\VEN_5333&DEV_8A22

and retest.  It should work fine.
