If you are a brave soul, and are willing to invest your precious time to make DriverPacks better, then we need you!
Below is a link to test packs for use on Nvidia hardware.
The below packs contain Nvidia drivers ONLY.  They will NOT work on any other hardware.
They are NOT designed for mainstream use.
These packs are for testing use only!
DriverPacks.net will not be held responsible if these test packs cause your computer to explode, burn your house down, melt your ice cream, or turn your cat purple with green stripes!

This one archive contains 18 individual dpms packs.  Each numbered sequentially 1 thru 18.
Please use the following test protocols:
1) Use a clean/fresh source OS with no prior DriverPacks integration.
2) Copy this source to a fresh destination folder.
3) Copy the desired test dpms to your DriverPacks BASE \Driverpacks\ folder.
4) Run the current version of DriverPacks BASE and select ONLY the test dpms and select "Textmode" option.
5) Slipstream the test dpms into your source.
6) When complete, build your .iso with your favorite program, burn to disc, and test on the target system.
7) Destroy the DriverPacks BASE \QSC\ folder.
8) Destroy the folder created in step 2.
9) Destroy the .iso built in step 6.
10) Start again from step 1 with next test dpms.
Repeat as needed...

I have asked one of my clients to check their inventory of 300 systems to see if they have any nvidia chipsets... I will let you know.
Question: Is it enough to get a system to the GUI stage or does it need to finish a complete installation to determine if the pack works?

Ideally, a full test.  But because of time constraints, a successful boot to the XP format screen will do...for now.

Bad news... their asset module isn't accurate enough to determine the chipsets and from the report I have looked at I can't determine anything other than CPU and Video chipset

if the client were willing you could add the HWIDs tool to the login script
You'ed obviously have to extract the HWIDs tool (It's a self extracting archive) and redirect the output to a server share instead of notepad wink.

just a thought... It might be nice to have an 'actual' inventory on hand for them anyway wink.

Thats an AWESOME idea... I never thought of that!!!! I will be there all next week and will do that... just extracted the file and wondering how I can name each system file differently so I can dump them all in the same folder share... any way to pickup the computer name in the output???

But i test it with IDE drive.
If the test will be good,i most test it with sata HD.
Then the test is more compleet.
But i can't do sata drive in this pc..there is no sata connection.

PS:you fix I4?..IDE and I4 make BSOD.
so far no trouble more with latest test version massS 100805.(If I removed I4 it's oke)

DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100805.First BSOD
by removing the [I4] section.Install succes full.
So i think it was NOT nvidia.

It sounds a little confusing. I know.

DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_100808 works fine.

Intel was fixed starting with v100806.  v10.08.08 is latest, and should be bug-free.  If there's a bug in 10.08.08 in [I4], then post in the testing thread.
This thread was made to try to catalog the different nvidia controllers and what worked.
Otherwise, we'd be guessing (and second-guessing) the different test builds.

simply partial report:
i have PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0AB9  (hp mini 311 - ion platform)
my bios is set to ahci mode, not ide
tested 1008nt18 & 17. only this pack, not other DP integration.

bad result... sad controlled not recognized.
tried to modify r\txtsetup.oem | r\nvrd32.inf and the DP root ini for add device (0AB9 not present in r dir)
SAME RESULT.. sad sad

ideas??

Try test packs #14 & #15 without any changes.  Just as-is.  And report back the results.
dev_0ab9 is a bus-driver, not raid.  You modifying the txtmode for raid will just cause problems.
Besides, 99% of notebooks don't use RAID anyway.
Just use the #14 & #15 packs as they are and report back.

Ah, that is a clue.  I wonder what nlite does differently to the setup files...
I don't use nlite anymore, but I'll do a test integration...just to find out.

I know what the differnce is cdob has posted it a couple times. I can never find it when i need it, like now. it has to do with hex editing the Hive files. since registy entries can not be created before the registy exists. I have not had time to integrate this into base... It only affects three or four poorly written drivers. more specifically the driver is not written to support legacy mode (dos).

I thought that i had stickied the CDOB posts about the fix but i can't find it (again).

Each test cycle took 10 minutes to complete, including two reboots of the PC.

I'm using the first 2 of the 4 SATA connections as a striped raid array.
