You shouldn't need any specialized touchpad drivers with PE. The system will just use the generic mouse driver. It's PE, you're not going to need advanced scrolling or multi-touch are you?

OK, well I think I know what happened with the system in the first post. None of the supporting chipset HWIDs are found in the chipset or graphics DriverPacks. I'll have to look into that.
Since the audio chip is supported by DriverPack Sound A (generic realtek), I can only assume that it didn't work because of the missing chipset drivers.
Unfortunately the download links don't work from your first post. And I can't find any compatible AMD drivers for those HWIDs.
The second Gateway notebook should definitely work with the newer dpms 101003. But let us know if it doesn't.

@dumpydooby, have you tried the latest nightly dpms? I squashed a few more bugs and it's almost ready for primetime. Ping me if you don't have access and I'll forward the link to you.
Whenever posting bug reports, we need the HWID list and the list of DriverPacks used. Whenever possible, the DPsFnshr.log also.

OK, on SOME Nvidia graphics chips, you'll receive an error at the install countdown T-33 that states:
Failed to install one of the core component which may affect driver functionality.
the most recent driver that worked will now be restored.The only button on that error is "OK". If you leave it alone, everything works fine. If you click the "OK" button, the Nvidia drivers are corrupted.

Possibly the paid service would have the username/password of the DriverPacks forums linked in the app to prevent pirating. IE, the app would be a free download for all but to enable the 'Pro' features you'd have to use your username/password from the forums and that would be verified online (with IP comparison to prevent duplication from different IP domains.)
