Now, how can I ever be forgiven?
100 LASHES! And pledge your everlasting loyalty to the almighty DriverPacks!
Just kidding...
Seriously though, this is exactly why I gave up on using nlite for anything. It was a good tool for hand-holding when creating unattended installs, but you really need to learn to walk on your own without nlite. You'll be much happier. I stick purely with RVMi and modifying files by hand. It's the only way to be sure.
So the new beta 11.03b1 dpms works fine on your hardware? THAT'S what I really need to know.

So what happens when you use a plain, original, hologramed, vanilla XP (NO nlite!) disc and add DriverPacks? Mass Storage doesn't care what SP level the XP disc is.

it say it cannot find nvatabus2.sys
Now that is VERY odd because I can see it in the pack.
Try opening your txtsetup.sif in notepad and (ctrl-h) replacing 'all' of:
nvatabus2.sys
with
NvAtaBus2.sys
I don't think the system is acting case-sensitive, but it's worth a shot.

Sounds like your .iso has issues that need fixing BEFORE you introduce DriverPacks.

The link and instructions are in the NT6 Team area.
I typo'd the changelog, it's 11.2, not 11.3
I'll fix the missing file error. Damn!

Re: NVIDIA drivers nvgts.sys & nvrd32.sys (again) (20 replies, posted in DriverPack Mass Storage)
OK, based on cdob's research, I've re-enabled [n7r] and moved the raid HWIDs up from [Nt] (didn't work anyway).
The combo of nvgts & nvrd32 is needed.
I think this might just do it!
This will be in dpms 11.03*

OK, If you're certain that dpms 9.01 works for you, then I know what to fix.
Fixed for next release:
Fixed
- I3\ moved .ini HWID (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829&CC_0106) from [I8] to fix BSOD (requested here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=5159)
Personally I think you should test your .iso on your own hardware that's causing the problem first (not just VB). A BSOD on actual hardware would confirm the problem, and solution.

Re: [CLSD] Is there any new graphic packs coming out ? (7 replies, posted in DriverPack Graphics)
mr_smartepants can you determine a proximate date ?
and Is it possible to pm me a link to the beta version ?
No, it'll be done when it's done.
No, only members of the testing team get access to the test builds.
You need to be reminded that we all have other responsibilities.
I have a REAL job that pays the bills. I work 9-10 hours a day. I come home and spend precious time with my daughters.
Once they go to bed, I have MAYBE two hours to spend alone-time with my wife AND work on DriverPacks.
I'm sorry, but my personal life will ALWAYS take priority over DriverPacks.
I have new Win7 DriverPacks in work. I am spending less and less time on the XP DriverPacks.

While it's possible to run it during the Windows install...it's not recommended.

Re: dp-base does not list all of the driverpacks in driverpacks directory (7 replies, posted in Installation Platforms)
The reason why I was unsure is that with the 3rd party driver packs the download directory says it is a 3rd party driver pack, but not with the ones that I listed. They are described the same way as the main driverpacks in their download pages.
I've added the "notice" to the main download pages:
This is a 3rd party DriverPack!
The 3rd party DriverPacks are a community effort. This means that updates are provided by our users. While we, the main DriverPacks.net team, try to help maintain them to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee that the drivers were sourced directly from the vendors, like for our official DriverPacks.
But actually their respective changelogs (on the download pages) say exactly what they are and where they go...
LAN-RIS:
This DriverPack should NOT be used with DriverPacks BASE. It is a specialist 3rd Party DriverPack for professionals versed in the art of RIS network-based installs.
Runtimes:
Place this DriverPack in \DPs_BASE\3rd party DriverPacks\ directory.
Completes the runtime requirement for the ATI Catalyst Control Center.
Hope this clarifies things.
