bbl
edit:
it seems adding si3112r.sys to \i386 (or compressed (.sy_)) works for me...
i am now able to see the raid partitions
yippeeee...
this was with the latest 1.0.56.1 driver from the latest mass storage Driverpack (method 1)
bios - 4276 sil3112a bios in trats d27_619R2_2T bios for the NF7S-v2
(found here )
Huh? That driver is also slipstreamed!
Is it now the ONLY driver that you've slipstreamed? You used nLite I guess? And it worked only AFTER you had updated the BIOS? Then probably it will also work if you simply use the DriverPacks. Could you retry to confirm that?
It should be there... unless you've deleted it. Or perhaps you've set up your cleanup script to delete all %systemdrive%\*.log files?
Then just get your hwids through the tool in my sig.
midiboy wrote:Hi Bashrat,
just wanted to say that the /USEPMTIMER switch was still not applied with latest driverpack 6.08.3. Don´t know if you fixed that yet or not but it did not work.
Bye :-)
Alex
Please post your DPsFnshr.log.
I'll compare the hwids and report back. Could you also post your DPsFnshr.log? Since the hwids can be found in it.
I've clearly stated in the release info that multibootDisc support was completely UNTESTED. That explains why it's so buggy.
The problems on the details page have been solved, and I'm working on getting the slipstreaming part itself to work. Should be fixed in the next update!
Have you got a local FTP server? I'll provide you with a script that automatically uploads the DPsFnshr.log and setupapi.log files to that server, if you'd like to.
twig123 wrote:Wow, I'd love to see how a driver update list would be automated.... sounds intreaging.
Will be done

Did you note down the driver version that was initially installed? i.e. the version that caused problems. That'd be most useful.
The Finisher would not complaint. All it would do is log the error if the file is not found. Note that the file must not be present at all if you're not installing either one.
Another possibility: remove all the SoundMAX drivers (D\S\SM I think). That might save some MB's as well... at the sacrifice of losing support for many devices of course. You may also want to remove some Creative sound drivers, as they are HUGE.
Thanks, downloading already
Very fast, by the way
If you can, you may submit this issue to the bugtracker... Else I'll do it.
I think most people would like to be able to enter a customized command...
I just won't do it before the remaining bugs are fixed. Don't expect it in the next release, but in the one after that.
fargo wrote:Will we see this feature in 6.08.x? No big effort is needed as only one command line is added to the end of process!
Thanks.

Don't forget that I also must add a GUI page for it
Other priorities first, but this will definitely be added...
Why are you deleting your posts? This is NOT helpful. I'll have to disable the editing of your posts then.
The purpose of a forum is to KEEP all information, especially when a problem is solved. That allows other users with the same problem to find the solution. Even if it implies an error on your side...
So what was it?
I wish all problems were self-solving

Glad that it's solved now
Topic closed.
Great!
Please also add it to the bugtracker
(As I've described in my previous e-mail).

no joy 4 me...
For me neither...
Check the stickies in the 3rd Party DriverPacks forum. I provide free 3rd party DriverPacks hosting
And no nags/ads at all, as you'd have if you'd be using rarhost
This log shows that the program ended without any problems???
Helmi wrote:That was a common problem for me from 6.08 to 6.08.2 but disappeared in 6.08.3.
Then again, I switched from GRO to ROE with the latest version so maybe it's related?
No, it should be hardware-dependant.
Fixed already, btw
Any patience please? Have been working today...
You'll get a reply tomorrow.
According to your DPs_BASE.ini it IS checked. Please verify that you can reproduce this problem.
SAD? EDIT: ah... 'Stand Alone Drivers' disc
The default directory is %SystemRoot%\DriverPacks. This is customizable through the GUI, by the way
