It's a temporary setback that'll be resolved once our Admin is able to contact the seedbox server admins.

HWIDs please?  OS version?
Yes, sometimes BIOS versions DO have an effect on which driver to choose.  We split the driver versions for the Silicon Image chips for precisely this reason.
But I don't see any different drivers for your card based on firmware.  Looks like the latest firmware for those cards is from 2009.
Was there a previous build of dpms that worked on both machines?  If so, which one?

Again?  I'll get Wim to ping our seedbox admins.
I'M seeding! tongue

I wonder if DriverPacks BASE is writing to the system cache/temp dir and each subsequent run is wasting time overwriting files.  Either that or something wacky is going on with the Windows write-cache.
Do you use CrapCleaner?  Try running that in between each integration and see if that helps.  At the very least it would help keep things tidy.

I've removed I4 again for version 1106r2 because it didn't fix your problem.
Let us know if you manage to solve your problem and what you did to fix it.

IE, can you confirm that version 9.01 WORKS on your system?  If not, what does?

Here's the differences between:
"\D\M\SC" and "\D\M\SC5" (support for different card bios revisions) Must remain separate.
"\D\M\H4" and "\D\M\H4K" (different driver .inf files for XP or Win2K) Must remain separate.
"\D\M\N4" and "\D\M\Nt"  (totally identical. only .inf files are different.)  I'll work on merging these folders...

I just use the default settings.  Once you install the "guest additions", my network shares show up on demand no problem.

My testing is complete.  All is well.
I'm just cleaning up both x86 & x64 packs.

Has anyone managed to figure out how to keep the Alps utility from getting installed on non-alps trackpads?  The only way I could avoid it was to delete all the Alps folders.   Removing the generic HWIDs from the .inf files would break signing and DISM throws a hissy fit.

I haven't finished my own testing yet, but here's a Release Candidate for you to play with.
Please report any problems right away.  I plan to release this before the weekend.

Since you're working in a VM, the hardware is emulated and may not be registered correctly with the drivers.  On real hardware this would be different.

@Rick: LOL!
@Samlab: VERY soon.  I'm doing final testing now.  Both x86 & x64.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you.  And I'm not sure we understand each other, which does not help.

During testing for the new version, I4 (v9) was removed, but then later added back in as v8.

v11.06r1
Added
- I4\ Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager DriverVer=06/04/2009,8.9.0.1023 for 1 HWID (W2K3)

Geez Rick, lay off the tequila eh!  It's affecting your eyesight! tongue

What I meant was after integrating the test version of dpms into your server 2003 source using DriverPacks BASE, then creating the .iso, then burning that .iso to disc, then boot the affected system from that disc is the BSOD error cleared and the windows setup screen (blue screen with white text) appears and allows you to select the drive to install on to?  Sorry for the confusion.

What you want is SAD2 (Stand Alone Driver Disc).
It's here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 590#p41590
It works from CD, DVD, USB thumbdrives, Network shares, etc. on any Windows OS from XP up to Win7.

Did it work?

OK, I'll have another look.
*Edit
Wait, you add those drivers AFTER integrating DriverPacks?  That reg file is going to wipe any changes.
Please try 11.06r1 on a fresh untouched source and let me know if the txtsetup portion works.  You don't have to actually install the disk, just let me know if you're able to "see" the drives at setup.

Testing?  It's ready for PRODUCTION! smile  I've been using it for months and works great.

Please try this test pack.

OK, that gives me more to work on.  I'll have a test pack ready for you soon.

I'd prefer them not to slip through in the first place.
The only reason I leave their posts in-place is because I change their privacy settings to let other spambots see their email addresses.
Deleting the posts would clean up the forums a bit.
I don't mind either way.

OK, so which dpms version DOES work for you?
You need to help me fix this, I need info.

Yes, each release is cumulative.  Meaning, each release contains everything in the previous release unless updated/added or specifically removed to fix a bug.
You should only use the most current versions of all the DriverPacks.
