PS:  was any of this helpful for DP_Misc ? http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 521#p43521 hmm

I didn't look at it to be honest.  I'm only updating this pack to try and clean up the threads.  It will probably be my last update of the Third Party DriverPack Misc.

The Lenovo one is slightly newer, but the HP one is the same already in 3\x\r\

I get a Blue screen with error message 0x0000007B on 2nd / final boot after install

DP MassStorage 11.07

Well that confirms the new RST drivers are working! smile
Otherwise you'd get a BSOD during first boot, not after install.
I found this happened to me on my wife's new Lenovo notebook because I had too many Third Party DriverPacks integrated.
Once the install completed (T-36 to T-34 happened in a few seconds), I got a BSOD because the AHCI driver never got installed.

Remove all but the most essential Third Party DriverPacks (1 or 2 max) and try again.  The webcam and monitor Third Party DriverPacks are terrible for filepath length.  I'm fixing webcam now but it's still really bad.
SAD2 for Third Party DriverPacks is the future!

I should have Third Party DriverPack Misc 11.08 ready by today or tomorrow.

I don't know when I'll have time to look at that.  I'll see what I can do.

Just Install.wim.

Wim wrote a guide about 4 years ago, which I modified about 2 years ago.  It needs updating for the newer AMD drivers.  It's in the NT5 DriverPacks Team forums which you currently don't have access to.
It's a well kept secret, but not overly difficult.

The .sys files were present.

Hmm, they're not present on my system.
*Edit
In any case, this phenomenon is a true bug, but not with dpms.
The superfluous drivers will load whenever the "mvnodrv.inf" is invoked by the main .inf.  The only real solution is to remove all the Marvell drivers from the pack.
They're harmless.

Please read the "read before you post" link in my signature, then post all the requested log files so we can figure out what you did wrong.

That's pretty dangerous.  At the very least the script should check for the presence of the .sys files in the %windir%\system32\drivers\ folder.

if exist %windir%\system32\drivers\mv*.sys goto EOF
