Like i said , its missing more files.

thunderrooster, can you  unpack the driver pack , and install it manualy from there? point to the santa cruz folder(D\S\SC\) and tell me wich files also are missing?

If not...

Just download the driver for your chip and put it on a floppy.

Try with the floppy to install.
The driver you posted is supported by the packs.



And post your HWIDS.

@ JTDoom : Did you  mailed Gigabyte for the new bios?

I use the Si3132 also , and  no problems here.

I have had problems in the past with Card Readers, Windows installing on drive H:, looking at the wrong drive for files during Installs.
USB stuff is quirky in DOS mode installs etc.

Best way, unplug Card Readers etc. when doing an Install and then connect it when the install is done.



Pre DriverPacks I found that loading Windows with all PCI cards installed created problem so I did the Install with most of them
removed, solved IRQ & DMA issues and then installed the cards after the Install had completed.

After DriverPacks the above PCI card problem is not an issue as drivers and IRQ problem resolve themselves.

Extract the .cab file

EDIT : more files where missing for this one.

I will add them all and make a test version.

I made 2 versions 1 is with the missing file , and 2 is with some more files.
