Hi all, first post here.

OK, muiz3, you've just proved our point.  The only way to integrate the driverpacks all the way through is to check both the mass storage pack as well as the textmode option.  I see by your logfile that you also check the mass-storage text mode option.

Try UNCHECKING the mass storage text mode option and see what happens.  You'll see the failure we are all seeing.

For me, the integration fails regardless of what driverpacks I've selected, from chipset only to full load.
It seems as if the mass storage pack WITH the text mode option is a requirement now.

Using DP Base 7.01.5 with newest packs (as of 27 Jan).

Why would i uncheck that option?

Yes it real seems to pop up, if you just uncheck the MassStorage text mode. And even than it doesn't seem to affect the process.

I am getting the error to. The only driverpack I am using is the sound.

OK have done some quick testing.

7.0.1.2 works as it should
7.0.1.3 not tested
7.0.1.4 Gives Failed to CAB compress \D\M\.sys to \.SY_. error
7.0.1.5 Gives Failed to CAB compress \D\M\.sys to \.SY_. error

So to anyone having these errors I suggest you use BASE 7.0.1.2.

Same problem here, and the reason i just don't keep the box ticked, is that some of my company's machines blue screens during pre-installation startup.

I have error Failed to CAB compress \D\M\.sys to \.SY_. with DPs_BASE_7015.exe. Then I use old version DPs_BASE_610.exe, and it work successfully.
Maybe this error appear while as I use old version draiverpacks (DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_6091.7z; DP_CPU_wnt5_x86-32_6091.7z; DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_6081.7z; DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_608.7z) with new version program DPs_BASE_7015.exe?

Nope...It has to do with the new base not the driverpacks.
