I have had problems in the past, right at the very end. Try turning OFF your antivirus/spyware during the download.
I use ESET and found this fixed the problem especially with larger downloads.

Don't know if this helps. I have found if the HD is already formatted then the Windows installer finds the HD as C:.
If it shows up as H: whatever during the install, let the format start and then reboot. You should find the HD will show up as C: on the next format.

Sorry, not going to happen. Why post in several topics, not the way to earn respect.
Linux had the promise of being a great OS, sadly everybody came out with their own Distro's and variations of the drivers were needed.
It is not the universal OS it was promised to be, UNIX has the same problems.
It would be an almost impossible job to do. We at DriverPacks are WINDOWS BASED and do not wish to learn and master a new OS.
Maybe if you try one of the Linux forums and ask them ???

You are going to have major problems with finding driver for an older PC/Server to work with Home Server. It was originally only shipped with HP PC's only so the driver set is very specific.
I have installed this for two small companies who needed something more powerful than XP Pro and less than Server 2003/2008, it was a pig to setup with the correct drivers.
Unless you can find out what the exact hardware items are within the box you will have problems.
I doubt if there is anything special within the box. Try to find a model # on the motherboard. Look at the chips on the MB with a magnifying glass to find the make and model of the NIC, Sound Card etc.
The BIOS can usually be cleared by shorting a jumper pair on the motherboard. You can then set it as you want it.

Boot from a UBCD4WIN DVD. Goto C:\ProgramFiles\Mcafee\DAT and remove the DAT Files
Copy the SVCHOST.EXE from the C:\i386 folder on the DVD to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
Reboot and dump McAfee and buy a decent Anti? - Maybe look at ESET ???
This worked for me on several PC's
One client called McAfee in India and they had him booting from the XP CD and reloading Windows.
I had to Ghost it and extract his files and redo XP from scratch
p.s. The nightlies worked just fine
Another fix if the PC will boot is the following:
cls
Copy /y c:\progra~1\common~1\mcafee\engine\oldengine\*.* c:\progra~1\common~1\mcafee\engine\
copy /y c:\windows\system32\dllcache\svchost.exe c:\windows\system32\

You may want to turn OFF the Realtek Sound Card in the BIOS so you do not have problems.
I assume you added the Audigy Sound Card in after you purchased the PC ???

If you don't have a problem with a driver then please do not post your feelings, if you have some constructive criticism feel free to post.
We don't care care if its XP, Vista or Win 7 we are here to integrate drivers for those products.
Are by chance a Linux or a Mac user ???

Have to agree, Vista is a piece of crap. When Win 7 comes out on the 22nd and hopefully your Vista-Tool becomes a Win7-tool you will see a lot more people using it and reporting back, me for one. Please do not drop the idea rather make it Windows 7.
I know a lot hard work went into your Vista-tool but I'm sure the basic structure is very similar to Windows 7.
It's been very hard to move people from XP to Vista, that should change with Windows 7 and your program will become invaluable at that point.
Again, please do not end the program it will become a great resource in the very near future.

As the DriverPacks are the main focus it would be a wise to make sure there is never a problem with them. These are what the public uses and to have issues with thousands of users would not be wise.
As the 3rd party packs are less used or regulated adding them as a second stage is a good idea. This would effect a smaller number of users.
That's my 2 cents worth.
