DVD/BlueRay Drive Drivers???

Hey all, i bought a new pc of ebay that came with windows 7 home premium, all of the drivers were on it and it was running well but i found that windows 7 does not run all of the programs that i use so i setup a virtual pc and i know that any drivers that would not work on xp will not work on the virtual pc but the ones that will are copied onto it.

Everything worked well so i installed windows xp on my computer and i have all my drivers, thanks to tis site and i have always used this site but never seen a reason to sign up before.

!!!Cut to the point!!!
i have two drive in my computer, a DVD+RW what is a BENQ DVD DC DW1670 SCSI CdRom Device   and i also have a Blueray drive that is a HL-DT-ST BD-RW GGW-H20L  doesnt say but it is LG, the Dual layer DVD drive is showing up as a DVD-RW so its showing as single layer and the BlueRay drive is showing as a DVD-RAM so its just a standard DVD drive,

my pc is also showing that it has two sound cards?, i know i have another one put in but it should only show the new one.

Moved to "hardware".
That's a limitation with XP.  Most newer DVD drives will show up as something other.  The extra sound "card" may be from your modem.

it does not matter how device manager lists the ODD devices...

can you burn a dual layer dvd with your prefered software? Can you read one?

Can you play / burn a blueray disc with your prefered software?

You DO have two sound cards.  One on the motherboard, one add-in:

You may want to turn OFF the Realtek Sound Card in the BIOS so you do not have problems.

I assume you added the Audigy Sound Card in after you purchased the PC ???

It may be a part of the Motherboard, is so it needs turning OFF in the BIOS.
