I love the way the options for x86 and x64 are split.

So if I had mentioned that the USAF might be interested in a leaseback on some Australian FB-111s, that would be bad form?

LOL.  Those Aussies are crazy!  I've seen the videos of the low altitude (10-ft...maybe), high speed runs.
Crazy!  A tall kangaroo would take one out.

Here's what I got so far on our "Forums rules" list (work in progress).

Trying to perform a repair install on an infected system will result in two infected OS installs!
Clean install is the best method.
If you can't wipe the drive because you'd lose the contents (backup, backup, backup!),  Then buy another drive and install to that. Then before you connect your old crusty drive, make sure to install a decent anti-virus app first and scan/clean your old drive.

But, that Creative card isn't supported in the current DriverPacks.  You'll have to download the old drivers from Creative's site.

what folders are they in, do you know off the top of your head mr_s?

VEN_8086&DEV_29C2 in DriverPack Graphics B\D\G\I3\igxp32.inf
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888 in DriverPack Sound A\D\S\R2\HDARt.inf

In the latest nightlies, both .infs have driver signing intact.

Hang on a minute.
Are you starting over using a fresh UNTOUCHED XP source or are you using a disc made by someone else?
That file isn't in the DriverPacks so this isn't a DriverPacks issue.

FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0662 is supported by DriverPack Sound A.

VEN_8086&DEV_29C2 (Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family) is supported by DriverPack Graphics B
FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888 is supported by DriverPack Sound A
You must have done something wrong.
Can you post your DPsFnshr.log in two posts?

Well, that HWID (PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0002) isn't supported by any of the DriverPacks.
Odd.
At what stage (T-36, etc) of XP install is that file asked for?
Is this an add-in card, or built-in controller?

Welcome to DriverPacks.
Read the tutorial in my signature.
Start with fresh XP source, select Method-2 with NO KTD!.  Method 1 is outdated and takes forever.

Look at page 32/33 of your manual.  Your answer is there.
It's a bios configuration problem.
With AHCI enabled (may be called something else like "native"), you won't be able to boot into a preloaded XP.  You'll have to enable AHCI, then format and reload XP.

Fixing AHCI on a preloaded XP is possible, but very tricky.  I've done it.  It's messy.

LOL. smile

Which DriverPack Graphics A did you use?

I am using XP SP3 (french version).

I can't help you if you don't answer the questions. tongue

Which DriverPack Graphics A did you use?
Are you using XP sp2 or sp3?

Can you use the updated HWID tool here?  It scans HDaudio devices better.

Read the post linked in my signature.  We need more information from you.
Make sure you set your bios to AHCI (yes it's better).  Make your XP disc without DriverPacks and make sure it works OK without DriverPacks first.

Just send it using your normal email client to: mr_smartepants at driverpacks dot net

Sure email is fine.
