Topic: Still a blue screen after slipstreaming driver packs
Hello,
I've been trying to downgrade Vista to XP for a while. I've got an Acer Aspire 7530-603G25Mn.
I've read a lot of topics but nobody has the same problem as I have. I slipstreamed the driver packs with the installation cd for XP SP2 (Chipset, CPU, Graphics A, LAN, MassStorage and WLAN). But I still get the bluescreen about the harddisk everytime. I just don't get it.
Probably I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. So, maybe you can help me.
I've followed the steps in this topic: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=1449
Then I start nLite en click "Create Bootable ISO" en finally I burn it on a empty cd.
After that, I boot my laptop from the new burned cd and everything will be loaded. But in the end it always goes wrong.. I get the blue screen. So, what's going wrong and what can I do?
I've found something about the BIOS, I can change the SATA Mode from AHCI Model to IDE. But that's slower, right? Isn't it better to search and slipstream the right SATA drivers?
Thank you so far!
Ps. Sorry for my bad English, actually I speak Dutch. Hopefully my language is not a problem.
