I uploaded v. 9090rc1 of all the graphics DriverPacks a few days ago to the testing team.  If all goes well these will become final 9.10.  We may or may not go public with the rc depending on testing team input.

I'm going to restore the original untouched 93.71 .inf to DriverPack Graphics C 9090rc1 (maybe 9.10 release).  That should solve your problem.
Hopefully it won't cause any other problems. wink

I'm still working on this!  I have new DriverPacks in work but I haven't yet had time to test them myself due to real-life issues.
Once I finish them, you'll be asked to test them.

While it's possible to use an older CCC with newer drivers, you may not be successful.  ATI has changed their detection method.

We need to see your DPs_BASE.log and DPsFnshr.log files.   Read the "Read before..." post linked in my signature.
You may be asked to help test new DriverPacks.
Welcome to DriverPacks! smile

Can you post your DPs_BASE.log and DPsFnshr.log please?
Did you use any 3rd party DriverPacks?

Thanks for taking us down memory lane!
My family's first "PC" was an Apple II+ with 128kb memory card, an 80-column card for "High resolution" text, two 5.25 "floppy" drives, and (luxury) a 10 MB hard drive that cost nearly as much as the car!
We then upgraded to a Mac SE 16MHz.  I loved playing the original SimCity and all those old Broderbund games.
I was a Mac guy after that.  All the way from System 6 to MacOS-X.  Yes, I had drank the Apple Kool-aid.
My first PC was a P4 rig I built myself after I lost my faith.
Ah, the good ol days...

Isn't that an old ISA card?
I'm guessing not in our DriverPacks.

LOL, No!
...moving thread to "Other"...
They have nothing to do with drivers.
What you're looking for is Windows Post Install Wizard
That's what I use.

Well, there aren't any 'rules' for the driver distribution method.  But in my opinion, once a vendor says "hey, we're never going to update this driver...ever", that pretty much relegates it to DriverPack Graphics C status. wink
But...
We try to keep the DriverPacks balanced.  Otherwise one would get too large while the others too light.  It's a juggling act.
But I agree with you.  Catalyst 9.3.1 should get moved to DriverPack Graphics C.

LOL, these things happen mooms.  No big deal.
Has anyone had a confirmed good test?  I think we'll only need one or two good tests to go final.

Isn't that what the evil computer used to suck the programmer into the computer-world in the movie "Tron". wink

Probably a webcam.
You can restore the HP using it's restore disk (Vista, XP?), then run the HWID tool and match it.

This dp has many duplicates that are also in dp_misc.  Both need to be compared and updated...if you feel up to it! wink

Just letting everyone know what happened to me today.
My 1+yr old Vista x64 install started repeatedly blue-screening.  My parents were visiting (left this morning) and my computer-illiterate Mom must have done something 'bad'.
She spams me more often than other spammers!  She was checking her webmail and (I'm told) she opened an email attachment that installed a codec to play a movie (she clicks 'OK' to everything).
Bammm!  Game over.
Funny part was, She was logged in on my own account (as a "standard/restricted" user).  Nobody uses the Admin acct unless I'm installing something or defragging the drives.  I'm surprised a rogue app managed to get through my defenses.  Thanks Mom!
I had already installed Win7 Pro x64 on a separate hard drive and was making sure all my apps were working fine before I made the switch.
My Mom made that decision for me... neutral
All my files are recoverable from the Vista partition, but I'll be down for at least a few days while I move everything over to the Win7 partition which will now be my primary OS.
The Vista partition is completely unbootable.  Not even safe-mode.  I have no idea what happened.  But Vista sucked anyway, so now it's gone. smile

For the time being, all DriverPacks development is on hold.

I'll be around, just not as often for the next week or so.

Excellent first post! smile
Lots of good info in there.  Thank you.
Either Major or I will take a look at that Conexant issue.  Chances are that HWID is duplicated somewhere.

Welcome to DriverPacks.
Please read the forum rules posted here.
We don't find drivers.  This is a DriverPacks support forum.
If you had tried integrating DriverPacks into your Vista install (which you clearly haven't), then you might have found that they would have worked fine.

The standard CCC installer .msi files are modified to recognize the mobility (and any other) ATI drivers as valid.
I haven't had any problems using this method on my two ATI notebooks before.
I downloaded the new 9.9 catalyst and I'm now using the new Mobility Modder from DriverHeaven to see if that may fix your issue.

Stand by for a new beta...

Indeed!
But I'm going to be forced to do a double upgrade (XP restore->Vista->Win7) on my Sony Laptop (or sell it!) because the IR receiver (for the remote control) and the special function buttons don't work from a direct Win7 install (control apps won't install).
Damn you Sony! neutral
