Topic: [Req] Intel HDMI Audio VEN_8086&DEV_2807

Hello everyone! http://i.imgur.com/5h0qs.gif

Here, looking for XP x86 driver for HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2807&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000

For Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3PH (rev. 1.0), br.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4808

This is a highly wanted driver, since it is Intel 4th generation and it is becoming more and more popular.

Device is reported by AIDA64 as Intel Lynx Point HDMI @ Intel Haswell - Mini HD Audio Controller PCI.

Every other driver works perfectly with this platform on XP, and really fast, with no issues!

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Re: [Req] Intel HDMI Audio VEN_8086&DEV_2807

We don't as a normal function of our project find drivers. We bundle them, that's what we do. People find a missing driver, report it as missing and give us a link to a known working driver and we add it. That's the system.

Your driver may turn up, and I hope it does. I am a big fan of Gigabyte boards myself. Can't you just run Win7 with XP mode?  Gigabyte support is awesome, perhaps contact them about an XP driver, they may do it. Especially if they have multiple of requests. I have contacted them many times, often they will send me parts like a GPU fan for free, just cause i asked. I love GB products and the company been using them for over a decade.

skip down to POSTING GUIDLINES second paragraph BOLD 'IF"

it says "If you create a post that says "I am looking for a driver for..."" then...
And you did exactly that.... So... according to the rules. You get this  http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4422

you also cut and pasted your first post over here, we got that info the first time, three of the four lines were not relevant there , and certainly no need to repeat them here. It was "good to know"... once.

second post and breakin the rules already... you is a bad boy!  lol

PS I wrote those guidelines so be careful about griping about them tongue.
PSS if you show up with the driver that you know works that will make "you da man!" and we'll get it added. It will have to be from a valid source like OEM or manufacturer. no modded files.

Those experimental drivers need be removed then too, and null-drivers crafted for NT5.
A compatibility chart from one of the mobo maker's seems to indicate no HD content protection key.  How is it that it works for 7 then, hmm?
Blackwingcat seems to be the last hope for these devices & NT5, unless Intel licenses them for Embedded systems.

Would love to see some chipset specs (including revision/stepping) for those HWID's included in the last official driver compared to these unsuppored iThings.  Can you, the reader, please post some brief details, please?
