Topic: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

Downloaded 12-10 drivers for Win7/8 yesterday - also found they had posted 12-11 beta .

NO listings for XP - rumors are that XP updated drivers may have ended. Might be something to watch; if so then Driver Packs graphic A updates for AMD/ATI can be ended.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

Yes, AMD has switched their XP releases to quarterly.  12.8 was their last official release for XP.  If they follow their "4 times a year" rule, then they may release again in 12.12.
Nvidia is planning something similar, though no official word yet.

DriverPacks support for XP is slowing down considerably.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

I guess I'll have to wait till December to see if there is a quarterly release.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

Been over a month since AMD posted as I mentioned above - guess there will be no new Driver Packs to add the latest?

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

You would likely have to "give it a go", as my time and resources are thinly stretched and have been for some time now.

The incentives are almost nonexistent, and there is so little feedback that "testing" suffers greatly.
Wonderful ideas, such as Damnation's "USB3 Mass Storage" have fallen by the wayside.  I would like to continue, yet at the end of the day, i have nothing substantial to show for the investment of my own time and energy.

If you have the ability and decide to change the circumstances here, you have my undivided attention.

Sorry Chief, been super busy lately.
I'm building it now.

Uploaded.  Full changelog in the testing area.
I don't have any ATI/AMD cards left to test, so I have no idea if this works or not.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

AMD has posted: 14-4-xp32-64-dd-ccc-pack2 (for 32/64bit XP versions) - has this update been included in Driver Packs - if you have I missed it somewhere.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

Check here for links to the other two Catalyst 14.4 drivers (Pack1 & Pack3) -->  http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 619#p57619
No, it has not been included in DP_Graphics_A yet.  That pack needs a ground-up overhaul to move forward.  Also, it is possible that there are problems with the Security Catalogs associated with those drivers.  Hopefully, all that is required is the Root Certificates Updates.

A year and a half after starting this topic, have we seen the last public AMD/ATi (affectionately known as DAMMiT  :lol) update?

My sincere respect and humble appreciation goes out to Veterans on this anniversary of the Normandy invasion.

If not for your selfless sacrifice as well as grit and determination, i might not be typing this by my own free will, and it might not have been in English.

May Veterans get the medical treatment that they are rightfully, lawfully, and morally entitled to.  This is also apparently being withheld in Canada.  It disgusts me to see how quality of life has no metric in bureaucracy, and i consider those "chair-warmers" FUBAR.  Despite not having fought on D-Day, the mistreatment of the deck crew of the USS Ronald Reagan impeding their long road to (hopefully) recovery is extremely dishonorable considering their desperate suffering.  There are probably others from their flotilla that also suffer in silence.  If not for you, we might all glow in the dark now, so-to-speak.  I think the whole Northern Hemisphere owes you and those brave legs on the ground, including the late Masao Yoshida, a debt few know of or publicly acknowledge.

Thank you.

Re: Last AMD/ATI update for XP?

Thanks for the links to packs 1 and 3 - I assumed there was a 1 as I had 2 but was unaware there was a 3. I guess I'll have to 'test' #3 and see what happens here.
