Topic: STOP ATI / NVIDIA REQUESTS please

When there is a new ATI or NVIDIA driver , please do NOT request them.

Believe me i know when there are new drivers for these 2.

Re: STOP ATI / NVIDIA REQUESTS please

Yeah, no surprise since it's on every news site.

The only advantage I can see is that it helps other members keep track of what's already taken care of and informs users of the drivers if they want to get them ASAP wink

Re: STOP ATI / NVIDIA REQUESTS please

THX Helmi.....!!!

I am fully aware of most drivers that come out.
If not THEN do a request at the right place on the forum , add a link to the drivers, with version number(s).
And we will see what we can do.
Thanks for your understanding.

nVidia ForceWare Drivers v270.61 now available (thanx to wikidrivers for the news):   http://wikidrivers.com/wiki/Nvidia_ForceWare

No word on whether-or-not this will set your nVidia cards on fire!   http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4414

Re: STOP ATI / NVIDIA REQUESTS please

I'm not an nVidia hater,  i've sadly been following their hijinx since fixing a HP dv9xxx series laptop with the 'bumpgate' bug.

Mind you, that's only the tip of the iceburg (did anyone say Titanic).  It is of little wonder that many have had trouble with desktop chipsets.  Nor is it any wonder that nVidia no longer manufactures desktop chipsets.   http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/new … led-makers

Of course, there's my favorite:   http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/new … idia-party yikes

I wonder if the future would have been different had 3DFX bought out nVidia, instead of vicea-versa!  I guess things were so bad for a while that Intel refused to buyout nV!

Like i said earlier, i'm not a hater, just following the hijinx!   roll roll

Re: STOP ATI / NVIDIA REQUESTS please

The day Nvida closed the doors on 3dfx was a dark day in computer graphics. It set the industry back ten years in quality and performace.
