Would the Jmicron 1394 controller be more fitting in the Mass Storage packs?  Also, the JMicron PCIe SD/MMC Host Controller, etc may be duplicated.  Would the card readers not also belong in with Mass Storage?  Thank you again for your tireless efforts. yikes

Arggh.  I had downloaded them but forgot to add them.  I've been swamped with work lately.
I'll try to add them in for a 11.05 release.  Best bet is to create new threads with [REQ]*** in the title for each pack (XP & Win7) so it's easier to track.

The following WHQL'ed {DriverVer=01/21/2013, 1.0.38.129}
includes drivers for Alcor Micro USB CardReaders from XP to w8.

The XP driver is included in DP_Misc_wnt5_x86-32_1307171.7z
  As per directives, there is no included icon support.

Additionally, I note that it does not allow SDHC to work on older cardreaders AFIK.

Edit: for the icons its easy, just need to copy (with DP INI) AmIcoSinglun.exe and amicosinglun.ini to a folder (system32 could work) and "reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v AmIcoSinglun /d <INSTALLDIR>\AmIcoSinglun.exe /f"

AmIcoSinglun is Run successfully according to Task Manager.
  However; no icons are visible with MS, CF, nor SD.
     Also, it doesn't terminate when the CardReader device is Safely removed.

It would appear that there is more necessary.
  Sadly, i am out of time presently to concentrate upon icons.

    I will simply comment-out the section [Al] in the DriverPack_Misc_wnt5_x86-32.ini
      and retain the new files in DP_Misc_wnt5_x86-32_1307291.7z for testing.

If you have any suggestions, i will gladly implement, test, and credit you in changelogs, at minimum.
