Topic: ATI X1200 - Code 10

Hi,
I used before GA pack 9.xx in mode 1, and everything was ok. I updated packs to 10.xx and from now having problems with my card. Under device manager is says code 10, and during booting (after user login) get mom error. After reinstalling drivers from the official website its ok.
Net frameworks are installed from wpi, before driverpacks net starts.

I tried to use method 1 instead method 2, but it doesnt install any drivers at all (only mass storage text mode are installed).

Regards

We have new packs at 1005 release candidate stage.  Hopefully they will be ready very soon and solve your ATICCC "MOM" error. wink

I use splitstream, and error was with downloading the files using DP Base. The zips coould'nt be opened - i have deleted the packs from method 2, and downloaded it again.
What about code 10 ? If method1 wont show the error, is there any way to use mix mode - method 1 for graphics ad method 2 for the rest ?

So the code 10 in device properties isnt method X dependent ? I've checked files used by DP drivers installed and ati official, it seems that at least a list of driver is the same (i havent checked checksums for the files), maybe some reg entries are missing.

Re: ATI X1200 - Code 10

code ten means hardware failure (physical)... that may not be the case... but that is what it means.

In other words code ten is not helpful info. more helpful info would be does it work if you use M2 that would indicate that M1 failed. and certain drivers will absolutely fail at M1. Method one extracts and cab compresses the drivers... this may cause errors in certain drivers and since there is absolutely no valid reason to waste the time doing it. Dont do it... (you have given us no valid reason for you to use m1)

Why do you insist on useing M1?

M2 was designed and implemented to replace M1 and it has... M1 was only kept around for backward compatability. since we have been using m2 successfully for over 5 years that makes m1 pretty much retired...

to repeat myself just use m2 and call it a day, unless you have some specific reason to use m1 that you have not revealed to us, as far as you have told us there is absolutely no reason for you to use M1 and since it may cause issues don't do it. simple. Not only that but the extraction and cab compression can take forever to run. (needlessly)
