First, I'm so very sorry, because I didn't good English, I'm from Indonesia.. sad

I've a problem with the CD DVD Rom like this image..

I'm using Windows XP Profesional SP2 Version 2002, install on Toshiba Notebook L-510

I try update driver with DPs_BASE_8125, but it's can't solve the problem.

Can you help me??

Did you remove any drivers using Nlite?
DriverPacks does not support any optical drives.  That driver is part of XP.

I'm using Driver Scanner 2009, but after lose this driver, I try to restore, but it can't..:(

if you look at the properties of the TSST device. What is the error code and description.
IE "error 10... this device can not start"

Was the device working and then it stopped after a fresh install XP on the machine?

Or did the device stop working and that is why you need the driver?

I have a similar drive, and that driver is supplied by the XP built-in drivers in %XPcd%\i386\cdrom.sys

I'm using regedit & then correct,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
and DELETE LowerFilters
Restart Computer.. It's Ok..

Amazing..:)
