Topic: [IMPL] modem driver - Agere Pinball
Working on a Compaq Presario SR1920NX desktop, XP Home install with all current main and 3rd party packs, clean device manager expect modem. A sticker on the modem identified it as an Agere Pinball. HWID log:

3 matching device(s) found.The modem is the last device in PCI devices (just to save time in hunting through the list.......). I hit HP's site, their modem driver was bad, refused to install. Ended up tracking one down that worked at http://www.software.com/downloads/free- … 90939.html and after the install the modem identified itself as "Agere Systems PCI-SV92PP Soft Modem". I found the driver by searching for SV92PP and the driver folder from the extracted installer has a folder called "Agere_Sequoia_Redwood_Modem".
Hopefully that is enough info, but not too much!
