hi?
maybe it moved to IB1?
Maybe it got dropped because it caused a crash with other hardware?
Can you tell us the hardware ID ( PCI\HWID etc) and some detail on the chipset used in that laptop?
My laptop is Toshiba A305-S6839.
The hard drive is SATA, and I am using [I3] Intel mobile driver with textmode in the previous version. When I integrate with my installation source. The file went well during installation.
You need to POST your HWID use this tool and post the Text.

That and besdies, we usually do not keep old versions of the DriverPacks.
Therefore, it's better to report any issues you have with current ones so it can get fixed in the next version rather than asking for a previous one.
You are, of course, free to archive any releases by yourself and we do not have any problem with users sharing them among themselves.
Just please use emails for such activities (i. e. we do not like to have OCH links spread all over the forum).

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2829 is supported by I3 and I4, however some ppl reported bsod with I4, so 9.01 will use I3 for your device, we had positive feedbacks on this one.
Intel updated their matrix storage driver, maybe they fixed the issue.
I tried to integrate [I3] & [I4] in my installation files again, it is still not working. In the previous version, I can choose to use textmode with the driver, but now I cannot choose anymore. I need textmode to install the sata hard drive with xp installing on the laptop. I tried with the previous version. It worked perfect.
How are you integrateing the drivers?
Integreate with nLite
Integreate with nLite
Nlite is supported by the Nlite forums. You can ask for help there.
We support the DriverPacks when integrated by DriverPacks BASE.
You can't use the mass storage driver pack with nLite.
We don't use or include the oemsetup files that nLite requires to add textmode drivers.
mr_smartepants is correct this is not the place to get support for nLite.
I would strongly recomend you not add DriverPacks drivers with nLite...
If you are only trying to add support for just your personal machine then nLite will work Great!
But, you will need to get the drivers you need from the OEM sources yourself.
DriverPacks is not nLite compatable unless you add the packs with DriverPacks BASE
if you're trying to add support for many or all machines DriverPacks is the best solution.
Also, I would not recommend on using both drivers in nLite AND with BASE (afterward,s of course).
Decide for one method.
And do NOT remove any drivers (or HW support) with nLite if you plan to use the BASE!
Removing Drivers with nLite befor using DriverPack BASE is no problem.
Yes, but do not remove all of them. DriverPacks are meant to supplement the built in drivers, not replace them.
Also, do not ADD drivers with nlite if you plan to integrate DriverPacks with DriverPacks BASE. To do so will possibly break your source.
MMM strange i have removed all drivers in nLite expert Camera & TAPI drivers but i have no problems.
Driverpacks does not replace most of the drivers included with windows...
If you remove them then that hardware is most likely no longer supported by your Disc.
It may, or may not, be broken... That depends on what you remove...
You more than likely have given up support for whatever hardware you chose to remove...
IMHO that is stupid. The point of DriverPacks is to support ALL hardware,
so removing drivers would be the Antithesis of that,
and if you remove the wrong ones you WILL break your installation.
You can lead a horse to water... but you can't make it drink.
You have been warned and that is all we can do.
Once it bites you in the butt...
perhaps then you will listen to the experts
I never said you WILL have problems, but, as has been pointed out already, it contradicts the idea of the DriverPacks and we do not recommend it, regardless of whether it actually will cause issues or not.
Of course, you are free to do as you please but you cannot expect us to provide support for an action we advise you not to do and the DriverPacks were never laid out for.
So, the official verdict is, do not remove any drivers, the inofficial version says, you can do what you want as long as you know what you do
