There is no Intel in DriverPack Graphics C.
Can you post your HWIDs please.
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A02
it is in DriverPack Graphics B http://www.driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/ … php?pag=gb
we moved the drivers around in the packs last time around
check the supported devices list http://www.driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/ … php?pag=gb
ok Ive integrated graphics a b and c. i didnt have this problem with last packs. I even made an update here http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=3033.
i tested the installation twice. it froze each time. under vmware.
VMware does not load any drivers... so it is not that...
according to your log your source is corupted... did you use a clean one?
IE it found M2 setup.exe but no backup files for txtsetup or wnnt.sif or dosnet
Therefore your source is no longer valid...
the fact that vmware fails (which requires no drivers) backs up this theory.
no backup file for txtsetup? i think i have a file txtsetup.org created by driverpack. i use modified source with chm and hlp files removed.
from your log above
2008-11-01 07:50:01 : <PREP> Neither txtsetup.org or dosnet.org was found. The removal of
2008-11-01 07:50:01 : <PREP> any Service Packs we may have added with Driverpacks was skipped
Both of these files would be created when M2 was installed
so since m2 was installed
(your log 2008-11-01 07:50:02 : <PREP> Replaced original setup: method 2 was used previously.)
and these files were not found you now have junk...
you can't modify the files after DriverPacks (except to update DriverPacks) if you do, you willcorrupt your source (and you did).
Your log does not lie - i am not going to debate this with you...
i have given you the answer
Your source is Corrupted, Junk, Toast, fried, spent, gone, done, history...
Start over. i can't make it any clearer than that...
ok. i've alreday used pack that i've modified after integration successfully. Probably packs not used during install then.
it has nothing to do with the packs - Your I386 folder is corrupted
the OS File system is corrupted - not DriverPacks
you have orphaned entries in your dosnet and txtsetup files and probably a few more i can only guess at
I make a copy of my source just before i add DriverPacks... then if i want to make changes i make a new copy of the before DriverPacks folder. and i modify that copy then add DriverPacks. you could use the DriverPacks BASE to remove DriverPacks by selecting no packs to slipstream. I wouldn't - I would do as i indicated make a new copy of my pre DriverPacks folder.
so AGAIN you dont have a DriverPacks issue - you have a corrupted I386 folder (corrupted source)
you need to copy the files off a Install CD and re add all your updates and patches and nLite whatever
This is your "clean" source...
then copy that clean source folder -
and add DriverPacks to the copy.
if you need to do updates or whatever make another copy of your "clean" source.
if you ONLY need to update DriverPacks then you can reuse the previous DriverPacks folder.
if you need to change anything else except DriverPacks then you need to use a fresh copy of the Clean source...
or use DriverPacks BASE to remove DriverPacks
- note: YOU CAN'T REMOVE DriverPacks FROM A CORRUPTED SOURCE
- You also cannot successfully remove DriverPacks if your I386 folder is modified after DriverPacks is installed
(because this will orphan any added files or servicepacks or any other changes
when DriverPacks BASE restores the backup files it created before you made the changes,
and once they are orphaned you have garbage.
and if the backups DriverPacks creates are not found the files will get orphaned and this also destroys your copy)
you need to START OVER from Scratch - and don't modify a source after you add DriverPacks - or you will be starting over again!
Do you have a link to download former driverpack graphic a b & c? I still have a pb at T34 even with a clean source.

Try it without your 3rd party DriverPacks please.
its not them because i did my current installation already with them and older driverpack (DriverPack Graphics A 8.04, DriverPack Graphics B 8.04 but not DriverPack Graphics C). perhaps i should try without DriverPack Graphics C.
Sure... that is good too
we need to find the conflict...
any process of elimination gets us closer to the cause and ultimately the fix.
I must point out again that your source is corrupted...
If 'Method 2' setup is found then txtsetup.org and dosnet.org MUST exist.
(since they are backed up when 'Method 2' is installed and you log indicates M2 was installed)
What are you doing to your source? If m2 is installed then txtsetup.org and dosnet.org MUST exist!
( I will have to assume the following since i still don't know what you did - you could tell us... that might be nice )
If they don't then you have DESTROYED your source and must start over... (didn't i say this already in an earlier post)
your freeze at t-34 is then assumed to be because your source is corrupted.
Can you please tell us how you are manageing to delete the backup files every time?
this may be the key to why you are not successful...
Note to self- next version; create critical error if backups are not found and m2 setup is... kidding
I use ryanvm tu update xp sp3 then i nlite the source. I dont know about txtsetup.org and dosnet.org they are not present before i use driverpack but they are present after. there is also a file called winnt.org that appears.

i integrate drivers at the end.
yes and those files should be found when base is rerun on that same source but your log indicates that they are missing... are you deleting them? is your source disk an OEM or retail. are you useing a source that was modified already?
i dont delete them. base rerun? i only run it once after rvm integrator and nlite. my source is WINDOWS.XP.PROFESSIONAL.SP3.x86.RTM retail.
I also change winnt.sif before using driverpack with my own settings. i noticed there is command9="%SystemDrive%\DPsFnshr.exe"
at the end of winnt.sif not in winnt.org
How can M2 setup.ex_ exist in your source if you have not run base on it previously?
i forgot to put my new winnt sif so i cancelled this one and redid the job but it was on a new source.
