Topic: [BUG] JMicron shows twice in Device Manager with yellow

I just rebuilt my main machine that has a Gigabyte GA-X38-DS5 motherboard, and the JRAID drivers did not install correctly.

DriverPack - DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_810H.7z

JRAID 1.17.42.08 installs, but shows twice in Device Manager with yellow(!). The only way to fix was to install JRAID 1.17.39.7 from Gigabyte.

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Moth … ileID=2733

Same problem happen with older DriverPack when I rebuilt machine a few months ago. (most likely DP 8.05).

I remember reading the same problem here somewhere, think it was from Jaak. Sorry, I cant find the post.

I dont think its a version problem, Maybe Gigabyte mods the default JRAID drivers.

Re: [BUG] JMicron shows twice in Device Manager with yellow

I have almost your identical board: Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4
I have Jmicron configured as AHCI, not RAID and it works perfectly.
Do you configure yours as RAID?
