"exc_1_tagFile1 = "%SystemRoot%\system32\mtxparm.sys" must be - "exc_1_tagFile1 = "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\mtxparm.sys".

I will explain. Lines In mtxpar.inf:

...
[DestinationDirs]
DefaultDestDir = 11
Miniport.MTXPAR = 12
...
[Miniport.MTXPAR]
MTXPARM.sys,,,0x00000004
...

Miniport.MTXPAR = 12. "12" is "%SystemRoot%\System32\Drivers" folder.

in grap A testpack, I would like to find out why CCP and CCC do not work automatically.

the radeon driver installs, and the sfx files work when I run them post install. (ATI card is a gigabyte HD2600 pro).

OH, also happens in XP-SP2, so it is not caused by SP3

Jaak, I'll take a look.  I might be able to build the .ini/sfx for you and email it via gmail (20MB attachment limits).

Did someone move the SFX builder app that I uploaded to the 'temp' dir on the FTP server?  The link there is broken.

That file is there, but a http link is "forbidden'' so you can only get to it by ftp.

graphics B testpack 806A was uploaded

DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_806A.7z

it has new drivers as well.. not just the fix.
