<< Link to temp files removed by xdanmeyerx>>

Here is the drivers I changed (I1 folder and I2). I'm testing them now. Maybe someone can test them too?

I also changed the change log to let you know exactly what I did. I'm glad to help the project in any way I can smile

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

Wow. This is weird. In testing my driver, I now get a hardware showing up that does not even exist haha... Great.

SCSI and RAID controllers
"Adaptec AHA-2920 or Future Domain 16XX/PCI/SCSI2Go SCSI Host Adapter"

Any suggestions??

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

EDIT

WAS this was caused by a change in LAN? (or your fix in lan? what did you combo with?)

-----------------
latest lan test version LAN changelog.. (dirty version)
8.05.2
(testversion 805E)

fixed
I2\ DELL propriatary intel (Dan Meyers made this work along with I1\. )
(Dan also made DELL in i2\ go along with intel I1\ for BartPE.)

New
B4\ Broadcom Netlink Gigabit 02/24/2008,11.7.1.1 (JakeLD)

Updated
AT2\ Atheros L2 from 08/21/2007,2.5.6000.5 to 12/21/2007,2.5.7.9 (JakeLD)
I1\ Intel PROSET from 13.0 to 13.0.1 (team and Dan Meyers)
M\ Marvell Yukon from 04/04/2008, 10.57.3.3 to 04/29/2008, 10.60.6.3 (JakeLD)
R3\ Realtek RTL8168/8111 01/03/2008,5.686.0103.2008 (same file version but more hwids supported) (JakeLD)

Changed
unified i1\ I2\ and i3 (teamwork)
Moved I4\ to I2\ (team, with Dan Meyers)

I2\ DELL proprietary (Team, with Dan meyers. Dan fixed this for BartPE.)

NV4, rollback. Put driver we used in 805 back in.
this "update" caused a serious error. sad

NV5A, the driver that was in NV4 was for SLI 590 AMD..

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

Dan..
you are ON TO something.
Nvidia chips, Nvidia mass storage, (graphics and sound too) and lan are a bloddy mess to sort out.

chips and mass are essential. period.
I'd like to see the combo you had when you streamed that..
( the DriverPacks BASE log. )

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

It's in SCSI and RAID controllers in the device manager. I'm going to try the new 805E (8.05.2), and see if that helps... *shrugs* How strange..
Maybe something got scattered when I was extracting the Massstorage pack over the network wink

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

to the public..
Thanks for your patience with the Watsons.. Timewarp and Versionwarp are the main reason we ask for logs.

People like Dan meyer and chaz, maa, and hectorfx, Ravennt, wooddy22 and others.. give feedback with little detail, or more detail, and some of them are like Dr Watson.
(They work out what is wrong and help us find solution).
Some people give really helpful feedback. I see the better testers as Dr Watsons.

Hextorfx and Danmeyer are like watsons, and wooddy22 gave detail what helped me help the watsons.

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

Yes this did happen after I changed the LAN from what I can tell.
Or a freak acident from extracting the Mass DP.

Info
Packs used

DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_803.7z
DP_CPU_wnt5_x86-32_804.7z
DP_Custom_Pack.7z (I use this for wireless drivers that have not been packed yet wink)
DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_804.7z
DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_804.7z
DP_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32_804.7z
DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_804.7z
DP_Modem_wnt5_x86-32_80327.7z
DP_Monitor_wnt5_x86-32_07111.7z
0DP_SmartCardReader_wnt5_x86-32_80228.7z
DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_804a.7z
DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_804a.7z
DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_803.7z

I will try
DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_805E.7z

I was using 805D with the edited I1 and I2 folders I gave you for the LAN drivers.
Then I got the Adaptec error in device manager. I don't have anything Adaptec! smile See everyone Monday~!

DP_Custom_Pack.7z (I use this for wireless drivers that have not been packed yet )

why not just request them (if you havent)

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

I was going to suggest the same..
We do ask that you submit the drivers to a team member as a REQ.

what is a odp?
0DP_SmartCardReader_wnt5_x86-32_80228.7z
(probably a rename so that DriverPacks BASE will not use this)

---------
you are not gonna believe this.
I have to ask for DriverPacks BASE log again, and do you know why?
smile

your list does not have LAN.

Re: [SOLVED] Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Ven_8086 Dev_10BD

"I was using 805D with the edited I1 and I2 folders I gave you for the LAN drivers. "

I was using Lan pack 805D with my edited drivers repacked. And the 0DP is a typo wink I actually use this 3rd party pack because some of our Dell laptops have smart card readers. *bleh*

And I cant remember, but I believe I did [REQ] in the wlan forum. Just needed to use it before the release of the real pack.
