Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

DriverPacks forum has no PM.
(and that's fine with me.. because PM tends to get discussions hidden from public)

hit email.

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

There is still a BSOD with the 805D on Nvidia NVENETFD.SYS.

Thanks to all the fabulous team at Driver Pack

I will say this every time I feel I must.

PLEASE give us more detail like a DriverPacks BASE log, a HWID readout, and please link to the driver you know works for the bloody thing.
your report doesn't help us solve this riddle.

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

new  file for testing

DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_805E.7z (link pulled for release)

We want it tested.

edit> LET'S TELL YOU MORE..
NVIDIA LAN drivers were reported to cause error.
That should be fixed now.

intel LAN would clash if you used the DELL version (which uses an older version with proprietary files for DELL.)
I made the error of releasing this too fast, but we did that because we knew there were issues with the previous pack that had to be adressed.

updates in other drivers

people with NVIDIA issues in the current release should use this testpack and test, and report..
(and PLEASE, let us at least know what that hwid readout said about the LAN driver, and if this testpack still does not work, PLEASE link to the manufactor driver that DOES work.)

Feedback:

The DriverPacks LAN 8.05.E has solved the STOP error with the NVIDIA LAN (nFORCE4).

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

thanks.. this stop error was serious enough.
testfile 805E has been released as 8.05.2

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

Thanks Jaak for your input. I can confirm LAN pack 805E has solved the problem we were having with the BSOD. Sorry for the delay in getting it tested and getting back to you with the result.

Kind regards, rmgalley.

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

BSOD with NVENETFD.sys in DP LAN 8.05.2! With test version 8.05D works very good!

I'm sure Jaak will be quite pleased to have gotten that one nailed down.

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

Lan 8.05.2 was 805E... which does not crash for rmgalley, but causes a bsod for samlab.. and 805D does not crash for samlab..

I will go ahead on that 'you can help figure out Nvidia LAN' topic, in which I planned to put all LAN network drivers together for investigation by users..

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

Here is a case - on the cards have an 8-05D was BSOD at 8-05E everything is fine, but the cards have an 8-05D was normal - at 8-05E BSOD - wonders!
Tomorrow will try to get HWID computer, the BSOD!

Worked on Windows 8.1 Pro

Re: Testpack DriverPack_LAN_wnt5_x86-32.ini [ver. 805D]

it may be that lan and chipset are involved with the issues too so complete hwids for the machines will help prove or disprove that.
